Is anyone else experiencing constant disconnections?

Hi guys. Been away for a while and just started grinding properly last nihgt.  Since then I'm getting random disconnections which has cost me quite a lot of pots.

My internet connection is still working as other sites work, as well as other poker sites and MSN.

It's happening on multiple computers as well.

After 30 seconds the connection restores.

    Mines BE Broadband.

If this is a multiple user issue then obviously we can apply for a refund, as the problem is at Sky's end.

Been having terrible problems all day. every tourney disconnected at least once or twice. Nothing wrong with my internet (Sky Broadband) so it must be at the server end. Also cost me a lot of chips and I am playing elsewhere until it is sorted out, so let me know when it is!

Just sent this to customer service.  I suggest everyone else who has had similar issues does the same.

    Hi there,

For the past 2 days, I have had severe connection problems when playing on the site.

When it disconnects, all other internet based applications are working fine such as other web sites, other sites poker clients, MSN Messenger.  One time I was viewing the live web stream of channel 865 which was unaffected.  After a minute or so, I can refresh the Sky Poker homepage and the connection is restored.

I have tried 3 different laptops and 4 different web browsers and I am encountering the issue time and time again.

I have also posted a thread on the forum; you can view this in the technical queries section.  Many other people are experiencing a similar issue.  This clearly indicates that this is a Sky Poker based issue and has nothing to do with my connection/PC setup.

I would estimate that this has cost me between £100-£200 so far, it is hard to tell as obviously I have no idea what the other peoples action were I can only guess from the strength of my hand/my notes on them.  In the last few hours it has cost me at least £30 or so where I have made a bet, only to be disconnected from the hand meaning my bet is just left standing there.

I would like to apply for a refund of this; if necessary I can go thru my account history and give hand ID numbers but I'm sure your system has a log of when people disconnect so you could easily find it there.

Please find attached a print screen of the latest disconnection.  Note the MSN window and the wifi icon which you can see are both connected.

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you,
    Ryan - user ID scotty77

I have a thread in this section called 'freezing tables' which has my problems being exactly the same.

I reckon it is happening every single session now and costing me a fair bit of money. Glad it's not just my problem but seriously worried that it's gonna keep happening.

Hi Ryan,   Thank you for your email.   Regarding your query, thank you for submitting a screenshot of your gaming activity. I see by your emails that you say that you as well as other people are experiencing the same issues. In our terms and conditions, we advise that if any player experiences issues in site, that they come to us. Yet, yours is the only email advising of this occurrence which means that the issues you are experiencing is not on our end as this would have been reported to us either via email, online chat or telephone.   On this note, your screenshots show that you are trying to run simultaneous windows with poker games. Multiple windows although possible are not advised as the software is continuosly sending and receiving requests from the game server. This brings issues with it such as improper data transmission and loss of data which eventually leads to timeouts and disconnections. These sort of issues are particularly experienced when a customer although may have a high speed internet connection is accessing lots of bandwidth based applications at a time.   As a SkyPOKER customer, you have agreed to the terms and conditions which revolve around misuse of the software as well as the liability regarding these issues due to improper use.   A small extract of of General Termas and Conditions are included below:   Liability We are only obliged to pay out winnings that have been genuinely won in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
