Once again Sky thank you for a great evening of playing poker on your wonderful site .
I played the 7-15pm deepstack, between 7-15pm and 8-40 pm you disconnected me 4 TIMES i must say it puts a new twist into playing poker on YOUR site ,not only do you got the thrill of gambling whilst playing you get the added bonus of the gamble will i make it through to the next hand without being disconected yet again .
As a suggestion for your next big live tourny ,half way through the tourny you should blindfold some of the players and see how they get on playing then , or just keep turning the lights off every few minutes so that it puts that extra little gamble into the game .
GET THIS ****ING PROBLEM SORTED OUT, YOUR SITE YOUR PROBLEM
Once again thank you for a great evening .

Well I am voting with my feet. Withdrew my funds and will play elsewhere. Have played many different sites and never had this kind of problem before.

Sorry, but having a platform that doesn't let you down every 5 minutes is a kind of basic requirement for me. Also not too impressed with a cusotmer care team who try to put the blame on me (even though Sky supply my broadband) and pretend there is no probloem while admitting to other enquirers that there are site issues.

Good morning all ,the last responce from anyone from Sky about this issue on this thread was at 1-25pm yesterday and that came from SkyRich .It is now 8-55 am do the Sky CC people only work part time or are they just hopeing that we all fade away and forget about this issue ??????????.
I suggest that your tech people who are looking into this problem start working overtime until YOU sort this problem out .I  am still waiting for a responce to my e-mail but there again i am not surprised by the fact Sky have not got back to me yet , will let you know what they say if and when they get in touch with me .

Hi Guys, Just adding a couple of points to Bernie's post.... I'd like to apologise this THREAD WASN`T PICKED UP SOONER for an 'official response'. We strive to provide you all with a great customer experience and we'll be reviewing the weekend's events to ensure we are quicker in picking threads of this nature (especially during weekend's when we might not have quite as many staff in as usual). Regarding the response from our customer care team - I'd again like to apologise for the incorrect information that was given out by our customer care team. This appears to have been an honest mistake and i'd like to confirm that we do fully encourage our customers to play on more than one table at a time (if they wish to do so). I fully realise this mistake must be frustrating but we're really grateful for you patience here. We'll again be reviewing this to ensure we improve for next time. Thanks again guys and please keep a look out for our response regarding the technical problems you experienced. (This will be coming as soon as our technical investigations are complete). Rich

Perhaps if the posters were to include a naughty word or two, upload an "unappropriate" picture with their posts, or heaven forbid put an unacceptable joke with it, then it would be immediatley " PICKED UP SOONER" and action would be swift. Thats the problem with this site, they would rather search the entire site for un P/C posts rather than sort out the basics of actually being able to play poker on it, but heyho they are still happy to just carry on taking everyones money, while fobbing people off with futile lies & excuses as has been proved by all the previous posters comments,SKY trot out the same old company lines every time this happens & it happens quite a lot.

FIRSTLY , I CAN CONFIRM THAT CHEW HAD MULTIPLE DCS ON SATURDAY EVENING , WE WERE ON THE SAME TABLE,OTHER PLAYERS WERE AFFECTED TOO.

MY QUESTIONS ARE , WHEN THERE CLEARLY IS A PROBLEM ,WHY DO THESE THREADS QUICKLY GET MOVED TO THIS SECTION ? INSTEAD OF MOVING THE THREAD (NORMALLY OTHER THREADS OPEN SOON AFTER !),WHY DOESN'T THE PERSON WHO MOVES THE THREAD , CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE INSTEAD AND INFORM THEM THAT THERE MIGHT BE A PROBLEM ? CUSTOMER SERVICE , COULD THEN GATHER THE EVIDENCE AND GET BACK TO THE PLAYERS AFFECTED,ONCE IT IS CLEAR WHAT HAS ACTUALLY HAPPENED.WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE A REPLY TO MY QUESTIONS . TY.

Hi, I can confirm that this and the other threads concerning disconnects have been forwarded to Sky Rich who  has been in contact with the technical team concerning this issue.

I and my colleages have moved the threads into this area as they are technical enquiries and its easier to monitor if they are all in the same section.

I know this doesn't resolve the issue for you but rest assured it has been escalated upwards.

Ive just recieved e-mail from Sky CC "you need to try using wireless connection that you connect directly through the router,as wireless connections are not stable and are known to cause disconnections and delays "

                                                Kind Regards
                                                    Lizelle    CC team

First of all the wireless router i am using was supplied by SKY and when i signed up to SKY at no time was i told that YOUR router was not a stable connection .
Next im not that good with comps but surely if you have a wireless router and you connect it directly it becomes  a non -wireless router ,which i would find quite hard to do as my wireless router is downstairs and my pc is upstairs ,hence the reason for having a wireless router .
It seems to me that once again SKY  are blaming this problem on ME and people like me.
This for me is the final straw when is someone from SKY going to come on here and tell me what the **** IS GOING ON .  ................   It is YOUR PROBLEM GET IT SORTED  and stop trying to fob me off with a load of **** .

I take it then oy that you have not been one of the chosen few who keeps grtting disconnected   LOL I will take issue with you about them working hard to solve this problem ,because first of all they are saying it is not there problem , also not 1 person from CC has been on here to tell us anything about what is going on in the last few days
Ive just spent the last 40 minutes on the phone with CC and i can tell you that they really dont care about this issue . I pointed out to them that if it was one of the big money players who was disconnected they would be jumping through hoops to get this matter sorted .
So no i havent got any sympathy for CC at all as i keep saying it is skys site .........skys problem

Just had a nice chat with a guy from the Sky Technical team.

They are looking at everything atm.  It will help them if you can send them ALL information regarding the hands.

Must be a tricky one to find. Can't say I've had a problem at all (don't think I've ever been disconnected for any reason other than my own router losing it's session to my ISP). I played James' Omaha MTT last night starting at a similar time to yours (19:10) and went all the way through with no problems as usual. Can't remember what time we finished but it was well over an hour. There was one break and I finished 4th so it must have been nearly two hours (?)

    Hi Everyone,

Firstly I want to make it clear that some of the service you have received up to this point has not been to the high standards which you expect to receive and which we expect to deliver. There has also been some confusion over communication across various channels - for that we sincerely apologise, I hope this will help to clarify the current state of play.

As you have all commented on this thread, we have seen increases in reports on the forum of customers experiencing disconnection issues on the Sky Poker tables, particularly over the last weekend, which has been thoroughly investigated throughout the last few days.

Our engineers have been investigating our poker platforms and we can confirm that a very small number of our poker customers have experienced unexpected disconnections from games and reported them through our Customer Care Team. (less than 10 were reported throughout the weekend)

We'll be contacting these customers who have already reported disconnections directly in the next 24 hours, with more information on our analysis of their individual cases.

If you haven't yet reported the issue to our Customer Care Team, or if you are subsequently affected by a disconnection and are confident your home connection, plug-in software versions and set-up is not the cause, then please raise the issue with our Customer Service Desk who will log the information for you and pass it onto the technical team for investigation.

We would be grateful if when logging your disconnection issues with us to have the following information:

    Username

    Poker Alias

    Time of disconnect

    Hand ID (s)

Has this happened for you before?

    If so when (approx)

    Geographical location of the user

    ISP

    Browser

    Operating System

    Version of flash Player

Were you running other applications at the time?

Our Technical teams are keeping an open mind on this issue and we appreciate that if you are disconnected then this is impacting your experience of our service but we need your continued support to capture additional examples of the issues and we will continue to investigate.

The platform is continually monitored and we have not seen any system or network issues affecting service for the vast majority of our customers. Sky Poker is committed to providing a stable gaming platform for our customers and apologise for any inconvenience you may experience while using our service.

Thank you for your patience and once again apologies for those of you who have been unhappy with the service you’ve received up to this point, the only way we can assist you is if you report ALL disconnection issues to Customer Care, using the template form listed above, then I assure you that this will be investigated appropriately.

    Kind Regards

    Adam
