    Hi JIMPET,

    Yes!

    1) Go to the "regular" Tourney Lobby.

    2) UNTICK the "Reg Only" box at the bottom of the Lobby.

    3) That's it - the Tour is listed now, & it shows 91 runners so far. Including one "JIMPET".

    See you in Glasgow!

Which ones you referring to Rossy - tonight's Quarter-Fina;?

It's just starterd, 5 minutes ago, & I'll Update it from about 3 or 4 Tables out, on a new Thread.

I can't do the whole thing tonight, as I'm PTP-ing, but I'll do as much as I can, & deffo the sharp end.

Not that I'm aware of, short of going to "My Account" & counting them!

I know I've played at least 23. Must tighten up.

Hi Tikay, hope you are well and thanks for your answers to my previous posts.  Hope you can help me out with these  1) Why is it that the rake for £2 DYM & BH is 25p/12.5% wheras the others (Scary etc.) are 20p/10%.  This doesn't happen at the bigger levels like £5 where they are all 50p/10%.  As I mostly play £2.25 DYM's I find this a bit of a con and a tax on the little player as it happen in the levels below too.  Now I know some will be thinking "Blimey! Its only 5p", well all those 5p's add up if you play a lot of 'em and the fact that I'm Scottish is neither here nor there.  Your a fair man Tikay, have a word up top and get it sorted.  And on a lighter note...  2) Have you any good poker jokes?  This only one I know is, what's the difference between a large pizza and a poker player?  The large pizza can feed a family of four.  Pretty poor I know but I'm sure you've got better.  I eagerly await your reply, especially about the rake.

Hi Tikay, you seem to have missed / ignored my post above.  I don't want to put you in a position where you might be biting the hand that feeds you but some sort of explanation if not from yourself then someone at Sky would be nice.  If you think I should take it up elsewhere please advise.  And how about that joke?

That's not really an appropriate question for this Forum, Mushy, please.

Send me a PM, & I'll deal with it that way, thanks.

I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that Darntootin, except to guess perhaps, and  unsatisfactorily, "it just is". I can only suggert you ask Customer Care, but frankly, I doubt if they would know, either.

I don't agree, however, that it's "taxing the little player" though, if a £2 Scary is lower "rake",  for the same buy-in then the logic is defeated.

In fact, you could turn it upside down, & rejoice that the Scarey is cheaper than the DYM.....!

But that'd be glass half-full thinking, & we are poker players, eh?

Sorry I cannot assist further, but I will ask the question next time I'm granted an audience with the powers-that-be, upstairs, & if I get a reply that makes sense, I'll let you know.

    Take care now.

PS - What part of Scotland do you hail from?

    Tikay,
I am disappointed in the Omaha Tournament numbers it just doesnt seem popular unless you have some involvement.
Is there anything else we can do to encourage bigger numbers?

Good question! And I agree with you, it's a disapointment, after so many peeps went on & on about "you MUST have Omaha".

And yes, if I stick my name down, the numbers rise (it's the implied valooooooooo), but it should be self-sustaining.

The Tables work nicely, nice & slick & the layout is good, imo.

I have discussed bigger buy-in Tourneys with Suitville, but they tried it, & got their fingers burned with missed Guarantees & overlays, so that kite never flew.

An Omaha Tourney League maybe, to stimulate interest? The truth is, all that would do is leech supply from the Hold Em Tourneys, I fancy.

Bigger buy-ins? Don't get the runners.

With time, organic growth will get us there, but it just takes time, & these days it's instant gratification, so that's awkward, too.

    Do you have any ideas?

I might - might - play a few this Everning, alongside the Deepstack Main. I planned to have the evening off, go play some Live Poker in the £75-er at Luton, but we - the Luton Gang - have all been knocked a bit sideways today by some very sad news, so I'll probably swerve that now.

I was thinking a ladder type theme might get more interest as it would suit all purses

I cant agree that "the logic is defeated" when the 12.5% rate only applies to DYM & BH up to the £2.00 level and at £3.00 and above they are 10% and as I don't play scary's the fact that they are the standard rate is of no consolation.

However, I will trouble you no more on the matter but if you do hear anything an update would be appreciated.

Dumfries by the way so not much chance to play live apart from shoddy (but fun) pub games.

PS - I also asked for a poker joke, doesn't matter how bad.

    All the best, Darn
