    Hey Devon,

Good grinding mate.I got to play a few tables with you last night.Your playing well.I seen you get a couple of bad beats like your aces done by fours (not me).It happens to us all. There was a good point made about C4Ps earlier in the blog. With the volume your playing at should be a nice bonus at the end of the month.I haven't been able to get the volume in this week as it was my last week in college so exams got in the way lol.I have played a bit and my results so far are

    £1 P6 W5 L1
    £2 P23 W15 L8
    £3 P8 W5 L3
    £5 P1 W1 L0

Also been playing the mini mains not going well to say the least no cash or bountys.

Loving the blog keep up the good work.

    Run well

    hi Mick,
yeh, think mini-view is your only real option mate,

    has got;
    6x23"monitors rigged up..
playing 2 full size tables on each...i believe, lol
    see u soon,

hello hello Ian, hope you are well my lovely friend.

My little friend went to the salon yesterday for her 1st hair cut/pamper session lol, I wish you could've seen Stephen's face when he got home from work and said to me "Loz, you've brought the wrong dog home!!" lol.

Hope that made you smile, anyway back to business, I reckon this is quite normal for day 3, you're obviously playing your very solid game ..... listen to people who are playing alongside you. It's inevitable that you will get some cruel bad beats sometimes in dym games unfortunately.

You're a great grinder, a great survivor .... and you can do this! :)

Wonderful to read that others are joining in with your quest, this will really spur you on and keep your motivation up.

Good Luck Ian and all other grinders too :) x

    hi mick,
yes,i,d forgotten just how swingy these dym,s can be.
    what happened to the days when you could just switch computer on;
    win 8 or 9/10 ,happy days :-)
will see how today pans out,
getting to the stage where i am although not panicking
    starting to become concerned.
    4 days play & still £7.15 down.

i think this is now all about survival this 1st month.
if i can keep putting in the volume as i intend to & still be there
this time nxt month, with any luck...lol
when the c4p kick-in,should be ok again.!!!

    anyways,
    trying to stay positive,
this is no 100m sprint is it.
    thanks 4 tuning-in.
    over & out,
hope u run better than me....he he.!!!
    :-)

    Hi Ian,
Keep your chin up m8, this dym lark is pretty tough going, like running through glue.
As you say tho, you keep putting in that volume C4P is going to be a good boost.
Question tho m8 & please dont take this the wrong way. Did you notice we played a dym on the same table last night ?
I dont know whether it was the number of tables you were playing but you seemed to "time out" a lot, & your exit hand with JJ in the SB losing to the BB with 9 2, you didnt raise pre flop with the J's ??
Just wonder m8 if having a day trying with say 4 tables at a time is worth a go?.
Run good today m8, be nice to see a happy face :-)

    Mike

    hi Lorraine,
    thanks mate,
    played a little this morning...
    ran better....hoooooray,
    up-date coming.
think we may have just turned the corner...
    fingers crossed..lol
    xx

    *****************************

    hi mike,
    sorry m8, didn,t realise...
can,t chat when playing 9/10 tables.
so please don,t think i was ignoring you.
yeh,u r right about the timing out m8.
when i get above 6 to 8 tables i only concentrate on specific tables,
    ie;where the action is,
obviously i have an eye on all tables
so if i don,t click the fold button in time
and if i  time out,i don,t worry about it.
there are 2 ways to play hands from sm blind,
obviously without giving too much away,
you can either raise up with strong to medium hands, ie; jj
which i used 2 do by the way,
or u can check which disquises your hand.
i tend 2 mix it up playing both ways.
my preference though is the check as you will win more over time imo.
    again,situation/player dependent.
yes,i may have lost to the 92 as u say,
    i can,t remember the hand,
but i,m guessing he got lucky?

if my b/roll drops below say £20/£25
then i would consider a diferent tactic,
    probably just playing £1 dym,s only 4 a while
and that would deffo mean playing less tables also,
    probably 4/6.

things looking a little better though,
as i did finally win a few games this morning.

    run well yourself mate....
    chat soon,
    :-)
    ian

Nice 1 m8 glad this morning has been better :-)
And yes he did, flopped 29x so  you were in deep **it lol just that i am finding on here it seems to be better to play my good hands strong, that way the bad beats dont hurt so much.
Am up to £33.80 so my target for the day has just gone up, nice :-)
    Keep going Ian
