You've set the bar very high, this could take quite a while, good luck to you, the profit on day 1 is certainly a promising start. C4P will undoubtedly be a major factor in this mission, 84 points earned already if my maths is correct.

    Hi Devonfish

How many tables do play at a time and how long did it take you to get up to that numbe?. How many were you playing after say one year as i've just started and find it stressful? Just interested...cheers

    thank you GaryQQQ
YEP,could be here 4 some time mate,
yes 84 pts as u rightly say.
i,ve not really given any thought into the c4p bonus....
    until now.
    yes,it will be a factor i guess.
where it will help,i.m thinking  is certainly later on...
should i get there,as i,m again guessing they should increase?
    anyway,
    early days,so 1 day at a time i think.!!!
    :-)

    hi profman,
    good question.
i did intend starting my mission impossible
    gently,just easing myself into it
    by playing just 2 tables.
but that very quickly became 4 then 9 shortly afterwards.
    i think 9 is just about ok 4 me,atm.
i have played 12 but found the decision making time very short
and if i am being totally honest, i was probably making a few mistakes,
which obviously then cost u money.

i started off playing nl4 cash
    playing 1 table
that became 2 after a week or 2
then kept on adding another one gradually.
i remember finding it quite tricky/stressful myself tbh
so i think what u r going through is probably quite normal.
got to 6 tables after a few more weeks.
i can remember i did find it a big jump going to 8
but it soon got easier and found the next jump to 10 quite easy.
    think i was playing 10 to 12 within about  2 or 3 months,i guess.
    mind you,
i was playing an awful lot, back then.

    best wishes,
    :-)
    devon

    thanks jc,
    my biggest bink to-date...hooray.!!!
happy with the way i played y,day
forgot just how many b beats u can get,
    so happy with the w.

    DAY2

    mission impossible....
    v nearly, mission over...
    not quite...lol

loaded up a £3.30 by mistake
    lost that,
    so like a fool....
loaded up another trying to get back £2.70.
    lost that....
    oh no,
    starting to tilt...
    only v slightly.
    anyway
    loaded up 1 more....
    can,t lose 3 in a row can i ?
    of course i can,t...phew.

    so in full,

    £3.30 w1 +£2.70
             L2 -£6.60
    total -£3.90

    £2.25 w0
            L2 -£4.50
    total -£4.50
    £1.15 w25 +£21.25
             L15  -£17.25
    total +£4.00

    total loss -£4.40

    b/roll £38.01

still happy with the way i played,
    so many bad beats,it,s laughable.
    anyway,
    only a minor set back...
my own fault i guess loading up tables by mistake admitedly,
    bigger than my b/roll allows.
hopefully, won,t make the same mistake again.

    c4p 95
    total 179

still a long way to go....
so will just take each day as it comes.
as long as i feel that i,m playing ok
    i won,t worry too much.

    all 4 now,
    :-)

Gl Devon, one **** of a grind you've set yourself there,  don't do like I did when I took a shot at £1.05 heads ups a while ago, didnt have the micro/small lobby up and accidentally clicked a £105 game instead of a quid, and inevitably I lost...
Not a mistake I will ever make again.

really admire your determination with this Ian, hey my friend, the variance in dym's could have brought about the same results on day 2 even if you hadn't loaded the wrong level of game. They all play the same in theory.

DYM is just a game of survival.

    Keep strong, keep surviving

I know you can do this

    Lorraine :) xx

Hi devon good luck with your efforts mate.
As you know i have started on sky & am playing with a smaller starting roll £10.00 usually i am a bankroll nit & wont play  at a level with less than 50 buy ins but that isn't possible :D. I decided to play the £2.25 buy in dym's but to only play 1 table at a time & give it 100% every time rather than try and multitable at a lower level, where i think a lot of players are calling stations & of the "i play any 2 mentality". Am fortunate enough at the moment that that seems to be working & have built it slowly to £23.75. Playing at the lower levels the rake is soul destroying as win 2 , lose 1 is almost treading water.
I intend to stay at this level until (if) I reach £66.00 then i will try the £3.30 Dym's. But hopefully by playing at this level for a while it may be possible to build table image as I play the same players more often.so at the moment if there is any doubt i am not ahead in a pot then its "I fold", chasing less draw's than I would normally & trying to take pots down before the river with betting stronger than normal.
I have also registered for the afternoon league £2.20 deepstack as a bit of variety, hopefully break even in that but you never know bink 1 & it gives me a boost.
Good luck again mate & hopefully when you get to the £1,000 I am still only £20 behind :-)

Hey devonfish, I sat with you on a £1.15 table earlier this evening (we won!). Good luck on your challenge and don't worry about little mistakes because 25/15 is good stats that most people should be jealous of!

    hi again Woogie
    cheers mate.
    best of luck yourself mate.
    i usually like 100 buy-ins b4 i move up a level.
so this new challenge is all new to me,
    but should be fun anyway.
i,m sure there will be lots of up,s and downs
as i have already found out and it,s only day 2.
it,s fine playing just the 1 table
but believe me,most of the top/winning players
    do multi-table...not all.
if u can win playing the 1 table that,s fine,
surely winning on 2 or more is going to give you a better return, imo.
    anyway,
    i,m tired...
    so i,ll say good night.
    :-)

    Hi Devon,
i agree about multi tabling but i think that is easier on cash tables where you have less variables than with sng's
With sng's the blind sizes change, the number of people remaining in the game varies, the calculations regarding your relative stack sizes & proximity to the bubble will most likely be different in the more games you are playing at any one time. whereas on cash tables the blinds never alter for the most part they are 6 handed there is no cash bubble & people have the ability to reload.
i am also used to playing on a much slower paced site with a "time bank" so it was far easier to multi-table.Anyway i am useless at cash & am a bloke so i cant multi-task anyway :D
    Hope you run well today

    hi again mike,
    agree with you mate,
    cash does play well multi-way.
but imo with practise you should be able to multi-table
    just about anything.
just take it 1 step at a time.
yeh, sure u will make some mistakes,
    i,ve probably made a 1000 or more
but i,ve also made several more 1000 good decisions.
at the end of the day,it,s each to their own.
4 me 6 cash tables i think is my optimum
    and with dym,s it,s 9...atm.
    anyway,
got 2 fly off 2 work now,
    chat again soon,
    gl at the tables,
    and best wishes,
    :-)

My May start has been pretty similar to yours.
Had a couple of bad beats last night, but hey ho you're gonna get them at some stage.
See you at the tables later.

    Hi Ian,
Sort of started it now but haven't got the structure in place like you have.
Playing a mixture of £1 & £2 games at the moment.
I'm just going to stay at these levels until i make enough to move up to the £3 level, then continue upwards like you are.
Be nice to run alongside you and keep each other going.
    Keep The Faith!

Hi m8 think i might change tactics now & stay at this £2.25 level for a bit & say add an extra table every £22.50.  Have just cashed last 8/8 so things look a bit healthier now :D
Left you a pm by the way m8.
    Run good tonight m8
