The 2 hands that took Marc from 650,000 to around a million.......sorry, I don't know the bet sizes, or exactly how the action went, this is as related to me by Marc.
Marc has the actor/comedian/impressionist bloke Kevin Pollak on his Table. He is so tired of Marc's constant aggro pre-flop (Kevin is 2 seats behind Marc) that he has taken to just mucking his hands blind, without even looking at them.
But on this occasion, Marc opened, & Kevin CLEARLY intended to call. But he got his chips mixed up, & put too many in - the Dealer said it had to go as a raise.
Kevin tried to make out that he INTENDED to raise, but Marc felt he intended to call, so re-raised.
Kevin calls.
Marc bet every street, Kevin called every street.
The board run-out was....
K-9-6-3-3
After the River bet & call, Marc said "I have the King", & Kevin insta-mucked. Marc showed down K-4.

lol!
Whoever said there was only 1 way to beat a bully?
this continues to be a great thread. been reading it for 20 mins to catch up, replaying the news as live. brilliant commentary tikay, brilliant contributions (good work woogie).
I deleted two posts as per a policy discussed a few days ago.
Tikay is tirelessly supporting the Sky Poker cause over in Vegas and there is no need to talk about anything other than funking for the remaining player(s) still in the Main Event.

Lol, I was half way through a tediously long & complex reply, but that is absolutely fair enough Dave, imo, that's your brief & remit, so you have acted correctly.
The Poster had certainly been misled as to some of the points he made.
If the Gentleman who asked the question wants to contact me, I'll certainly reply fully to him. I believe he'll be surprised by the facts.
Daniel Negreanu @ RealKidPoker Absolute mayhem in the WSOP main event right now. Lots of random delays and people standing around waiting. No idea why or what is happening Posted by aussie09
Bit of a mystery that, the Tourney was stopped three times without explanation, & is now running late, hence that unscheduled mid-level break.
I use a "Staff Only" corridor here to pop out of the building for a breath of fresh air once an hour or so (we have no windows, no natural light, no clocks, it sends me doo-lally!), & in doing so, I clumsily bumped into a little private pow-wow going off between Jack Effel, Seth Palansky, & Nolan Dalla, the WSOP Big Wigs, so I guess someting off went off.
The "pepper spray" incident did not help, for sure.
Our boys all did their best, but the vital hands went against them when it mattered. Such is poker.
That means we all come home tomorrow, as originally scheduled.
I've missed todays "Team Day Out" - most of the boys have gone Downtown, Thewy is looking after them.
Thewy has been an absolute hero out here, I've not been able to get away from the Lappie much, but Thewy stepped up to the plate.
I don't think there has been a cross word between any of the Team the entire time we have been here. I think every single one had a fantastic trip, at least I hope they did. They did some stuff together, some stuff individually, nobody was on a leash, it was so good to see them all over the place, doing the Vegas experience.
A special word for the support on this thread from everyone back at home.
No exaggaration, it MADE the trip to see such warmth, support, & good vibes.
I hope I don't upset anyone by not mentioning them, but very special thanks to the lads who provided all the "Table Research" every day, & also those who supplied, & uploaded, Tweet addresses & Tweets.
First time we have done that in VLV, but it will definitely be a great addition to all future VLV adventures, in 2013 & beyond.
I'm too tired to think right now, the adrenelin hangover has kicked in already, but once I get home & back in harness, I'll be sorting out some little "thank you's" for the likes of Bugaloo, Woogie, Aussie, Skylist, MyZo, & anyone else I have momentarily forgotten.
I'll not be home until Sunday afternoon, & I need to sort out some stuff, so I'll not be back Online full time until early next week, though I'll pop on & off, so bear with me a few days please.

Marc felt Kevin had something like 10-10.
Shortly after, there was a pot that was 3 bet pre.
The board run-out was J-8-4-K-J.
I believe Marc bet pre, flop, & turn, & got called down the whole way, but had to check the river, which was checked back.
On the end, Marc thought he had lost, & resignedly announced "A high".
Oppo now mucked his hand, so Marc had to show his A-2.
Marc felt Oppo must have had 9-10, or Q-10, & missed his draw.
Ajay Gnanasambanthan!
Off to beddy-byes...

OK, on with the Vegas show.

If I casn find out more, I'll let you know.
Marc Wright is OUT
Details to follow.....
Marc had K-9, the flop was K-9-x, two clubs.
The lot went in, I guess a flush draw, or maybe A-K was assumed, but Matey Boy made the final shove, & Marc called.
To Marc's horror, Matey Boy had 9-9.
I'll get more details soonest, Marc is currently in the "Payout Queue"......
So, that is that for Viva Las Vegas 2012.
