I'm looking forward to the WSOP Lite Final tomorrow night at 10.00pm and the Viva Las Vegas Final this Sunday 31st...good luck everyone, go Vegas crazy this weekend!!!!
Had a disaster on Friday, when my Broadband collapsed in a heap, and I Blinded out. I was well-placed at the time to Cash in both the £15k Bounty Hunter, & the 8.15 Deepstack. Sigh. That is all.
And so, tonight, Tuesday June 2nd, I am on a recovery mission. I've entered the £4,000 Open at 9pm, & the usual 8.15pm Sleepstack. See you there. Posted by Tikay10
Tonight, my Recovery Mission was mainly a failure.
Went deep in both, but not deep enough. Played OK though, & had some good banter in the Chat-Box.
not mixing with the BIG GUNS yet still plodding along in the cheap seats! Posted by woooosh
Never mind that Mr wooooosh, poker is for enjoying, just play in your comfort zone, whatever that may be. The winners in poker are those that enjoy it most.
For me, tonight's selection from the Poker Menu will be the 8.15 Deepstack, & the 9pm Five-00, & I've registered for both.
It's my Play The Presenter Shift tonight, too, so if anyone fancies some fun poker on my Table, or just wants to chat from the Rail, that'll be cool. To find me (or whatever Presenter is on each night), just go to "Find a Player" & type the Alias (mine tonight will be "TIKAY10") into the box thingie. I'll be on a selection of Cash Tables from 7pm onwards, & throughout the evening, depending how long I last in the Tourneys.
I will report back upon my inevitable demise later. Expect excuses.
I got mullered last night, I was like Mr Softee, & everyone owned me.
In the Deepstack, I held A-K (with the Ace of hearts), I played it trappy & ended up trspping myself. Flop was Q-J-2, all hearts. Count the outs there....My oppo, "Joyce", great guy who I met recrently in Newcastle, held 8-2, & two-paired on the turn, & I missed all my 7,639 outs, sigh.
Ran well in the 5-00, but close to the money ran K-Q into A-A, & Mr A-A refused to pass his one pair.....
Eventually, I played Heads-Up v the Studio Guest, Steve Sedgley, (ex- Spurs footballer bloke), & managed to win that.
Earlier, in thge 0.10.20 Cash, I was Lord Card-Rack, hit EVERYTHING, & trebled my £20 pull up, so a small profit on the night ensued. Happy Days.
