well all I can say about today is I have been on as many as 12 tables at once and due to the amount of time I spent online today I will just give a quick description. basically my bankroll is £200.42 all day it has been up down up down. ~18 table got profit ~20 table got losses
Aye />? So you'll be in with a good shout of a nice wee bonus on tuesday. Good luck for the next few days. Posted by LARSON7
I wish unfortunately a I wasted a full day because of a friend coming over. it is usually good of a friend to come over but this friend I have basically just wants to play computer games yet he hates the ones I like best as he thinks they scary.
I was just on the one table, unlucky with the hand you tried to bluff, i did have to think for a while, i only called because it is the kind of bet i would make as a bluff.

well as you can see from my post I am not doing good calcalford might think I am over aggressive at time but I am thinking myself that bluffs are getting so easy on the nl4 tables the sort of villians that seem most common on these tables are fish who will call for a flush but fold if they miss.
"I wish unfortunately a I wasted a full day because of a friend coming over. it is usually good of a friend to come over but this friend I have basically just wants to play computer games yet he hates the ones I like best as he thinks they scary."
Scary games what are they then? need to teach them poker, get a deck of cards then when he/she comes round play a bit of live 4nl lol - win/win.

Mate, the only opinion that counts is yours. For what it is worth, i don't think you are overly aggressive.
You play really well, and have shown you are successful at 4nl. This weekend the tables are playing totally different due to the promo. You know i like a bluff, but a really good player was saying to me you dont really need to be doing it at this level. Just bet bet bet with hands.

he is very poor learning skills benc so I dout he could be able to play poker unless you talking about pokermon for the ds because he plays lots of them games yet is the same age as me lol.

what could be your downfall is you sometimes like to show your hands you should never show you bluffs at all. what I believe helps bluffs is stay tight with hands selection and start of with semi bluffs and cbets then after a while if you notice lots of folds with them one you then take the next step of getting looser OTB.

ahh the glory days of pokemon on the gameboy and trading cards back at school lol Hope the poker starts to go better mate, maybe do some reviewing of hand history soon see if your losses you are being too aggro- agree with larson above at nl4 even though you can steal pots sometimes from passive opponents i think we want to be playing a tag game where we sit wait for made hands and just barrel - sure it will turn around mate gl.
Hand 1- Fine Hand 2 - As played probably fine, but I would consider folding pre, when faced with a pre flop raise AT can be very difficult to play out of position. Hand 3 -
On the flop - fold, we dont want to be paying so much for this draw On the turn - fold, we dont want to be paying so much for this draw - especially as the board has now paired On the river - so you got there, but you are not raising, this obv means you dont know if you are good. All the more evidence you should have folded earlier.
with hand 2 I decided to call as it was the button who raise and their hand range is very wide if it were a villain who has only dropped down for the big deal promo. the beginners on nl4 I am starting to think limp in with premium hands because I have noted down atleast 5 villains today who don't raise with AA-QQ. hand 3 I called preflop as I was on the CO and would have raised it myself if it got folded round to me the flush draw itself I don't see much reason to fold if I did that then it will make things even more harder for me to gain value from good hands because if they know I called then they will know I have hit betting and calling flush and straight draws are the best thing to help hide strong hands the reason for not reraising the river was because he has decided to go so big so if I do a jam or reraise he will either fold or call with a A flush or a set as it is paired.
I must be having some sort of problem with my betting or hand selection at the minute at the minute because I have did a check through all my hand history in the last 6 hours and given how few are big losses I still ended on a loss. my losses in the last 6 hours were 0.02 130 0.04 156 0.08 46 0.10-0.20 44 0.20-0.30 14 0.32 40 0.40-0.50 2 0.50-0.60 4 0.80 0.9 1-2 2 hands 6.61 my winning hand in them 6 hours were 0.02 14 hands 0.03 5 hands 0.04 8 0.05 0.06 32 0.07 6 0.08 6 0.09 2 0.10-0.20 39 0.20-0.30 14 0.30-0.40 8 0.45 0.46x2 0.52 0.63x2 0.66 0.72 0.79 0.86 0.87 0.89 0.97 0.98 1.49 1.61 4.22
the flush draw itself I don't see much reason to fold
Having fairly poor odds to call is a good reason.
Flush chasing without proper odds is a huge leak.
At 4nl I never seem to get problems getting paid off. There is no need to even consider playing weak hands/ or any kind of polarised range theory at 4nl.

Craig how long did it take you to count up all the wins and losses in the post above?
I'm not sure what you expect to get out of the exercise? It's got to take at least half an hour!
You're worse than Don for counting
