In Response to Re: Get in the Hole! 2014 Season! (Shriners Open + Honk Kong Open) Darty FT's Several Main Events! : Very happy, with the position of Fowler, Stenson and Oosthuizen after day 1. However seeing Brandt Snedeker sitting tied 2nd and given Neil's recent run of picking winners, one tournament before they do actually win, I'm contemplating an ew bet on Mr. Snedeker at 28/1. Over in the USA, it looks to be as weak a field as I can remember outside when it clashes with a Major. As a result I'm plumping for old Willie McGirt ew at 55/1. He's been steady away in recent months in full strength fields. Posted by joesman1
Gan in Willie boy. Best of the late starters. Go shoot 80 in the best conditions tomorrow. Too much time on my hands this week. Back to no posting from tomorrow..
A Thursday night reminder that you can't have it all your own way!

Very aggrevating night last night. Felt I was playing really well, had a big stack in the main especially early doors. Then i just had sick coolers and outdraws.
Main - KK vs A10 on a 10 high flop
9 Max - 22 on a J,J,2 flop vs..... JJ!!
Deep - AQ on a 2,5,A,Q,5 board vs 5,3 (90% of chips were in before the river)

U were both due a bad day at the office.. Still an amazing week.
Friday highlight, getting down to last 32 from a field of 786, only to go out with P9's against P8's all in pre. The bad beats and outdraws are coming thick and fast now.

I didn't add that I was also hoping for a top 5 finish from Peter Uihlein, as I thought he was too far back so didn't hold much hope.
Thankfully, he had a best round of the day and made a tie for 4th, to bring up an ew double with Peter Uihlein 40/1 and Rickie Fowler 25/1
Jason Bohn's tied 2nd at 66/1 was also a decent result, though the win would have been even better.
Simon Trumper, as I'm sure you're all aware is the part owner of Dusk Till Dawn has just picked out our very own Neil Strike as the player to watch in the upcoming WPT series at DTD. How does it feel to be famous Neil?
DTD One to Watch: Neil Strike. If his Hendon Mob profile is anything to go by some would say this has been a breakthrough year for Neil. Highlights of a quite remarkable 2014 include an EPT Main Event cash, EPT/UKIPT High Roller cash and a Pokerstars Marbella Fesitval High Roller win for $48,000.
Stats: England all tie money list: 631st DTD Cashes: £12,230
He's had a $100,000+ year and has already cashed in the WPT Warm Up. Can he add to that in the festivals remaining events?

Impressive stuff, though of course I recognized his potential back in 2010, so no real surprise to me, seeing him ranked along the big names in the game
Thanks a bunch lads.... A bit of a humbling experience been put along side Trickett etc.... I so hope I don't nose dive now and have an awful 2015... Tbh the exposure will help me keep focused and stay on my toes.
Right enough of me, fab week for u two last week, proper bossing the UKOPS.
Now back to golf. Great picks last week Jerome. Lovely ew double. Shame for me McGirt became Mctwat.
Turksih Airlines (I'm an Elite member you know) Open
George Coetzee - 33/1, main bet of the week, its been a while since I really had a strong fancy for someone in a golf event, loads of feel good vibes and I'm very hopeful George Coetzee is set for a big week.
Nicolas Colsaerts - 28/1, half a dozen tournaments ago, he was outside the top 100 on the R2D, now ranked 40th after an impressive run of tournaments that have included finishes of 2nd, 4th and 6th, he's clearly in great form and this course should suit his game.
Danny Willett - 66/1, because I like him and he's 66/1 when I think he should be nearer 33/1
Matthew Baldwin - 250/1, because I keep a close eye on him and know he feels his game is currently in the best shape its ever been.
It would still be a big ask for him to get his break through win in this event, but the 250/1 lured me in, I've also taken 50/1 ew for top Englishman.
Bonus Pick - Bernd Weisberger - 33/1, as he's last the member of the three some (space between three and some required by Sky censors) that Joesman1 picked out a few weeks ago, with the other two, Illonen and Siem going on to win. I just can't ignore Weisberger this week.
Bo Van Pelt - 50/1, keeps throwing in low rounds of the day, keeps suggesting he is close to a big week, the course and conditions should suit this week, so in a field missing any real star names, I suggest he could go very well.
Robert Streb - 25/1, form man on the tour and early leader of the Fed-Ex rankings, as Jimmy Walker showed last year, a man in form is not to be ignored.
Spencer Levin - 66/1, a couple of years ago, I though he looked like a winner in waiting until he got injured. I've been keeping an eye on him recently, he looks to be playing well and his stats are right up there.
Also consider that he lost a play off here in 2011 and you are suddenly looking at a player that represents very good value at 66/1.
Will Mackenzie - 50/1, I noticed for a period last year that he seemed to be very popular with a lot of golfing pundits and to be fair for a couple of months he turned in some very good performances, I never bought into the Will Mackenzie love in last year, but have to confess that after a bit of research I've read enough to feel Will Mackenzie is worth a dabble.
Bonus Pick - Carlos Oritz -150/1, to go with my Weisberger selection, Calros Oritz is Mexican and he know's the course well.
So playing in front of a home crowd, it usually goes one of two ways, the added pressure and distractions gets to the player and he buckles or he feeds on the added attention and uses his local knowledge to his advantage.
He is a graduate from the Web.com tour where he picked up a couple of wins including a win in Mexico, so it bodes well for a good performance for Carlos Oritz.

Ffs man.... I'm all over him this week and was about to post it up
So in the USA I'm on... Errrrrr....... Mr Will McKenzie ew @ 50/1. I've also put him with both Olsen and Weisberger in ew doubles.... Well anything The Dartser can do.....
