So in the USA I'm on... Errrrrr....... Mr Will McKenzie ew @ 50/1. I've also put him with both Olsen and Weisberger in ew doubles.... Well anything The Dartser can do..... Posted by joesman1
Turksih Airlines (I'm an Elite member you know) Open George Coetzee - 33/1, main bet of the week, its been a while since I really had a strong fancy for someone in a golf event, loads of feel good vibes and I'm very hopeful George Coetzee is set for a big week. Posted by TheDart
Ugh, first check of the leaderboard and plum last of 33 players on the course, on +3 after just 3 holes, sits George Coetzee thanks to a triple bogey on his 3rd hole......sighhhhh

Could have been worse, I mean Nicolas Colsaerts had a TEN on one hole.............oh wait
I must be the worlds biggest bokker!!!! Checked on Weisberger after 3 holes, all was well.... Then bang..... Left the golf alone for a bit, then had a look, thought my boys were going no where, so had a win only bet in running on Stenson just before he teed off at 12/1.... Checked on his progress at noon, all was well, nicely positioned at 5 under with 5 to play. So I put the sky go on, water = bogey.... Then water again on the next = a fu@ing triple!!! Turned the iPad off, then birdie birdie... Back on..... Bogey.... Wtf!!!
Ipad staying switched off tomorrow..... Daren't see how Mackenzie builds on his nice little 6 under start. I'll concentrate on my little poker game instead.
Haha, love how all us gamblers think doing something so little in a completely different country makes such an impact on a random guy playing golf somewhere.

But what Neil says is true isn't it!
I mean yesterday when I saw Will Mackenzie had got it to -4, I wanted to text Neil and tell him Will Mackenzie was going well, I didn't text Neil as I was wary that any positive text concerning Will Mackenzie would have caused a run of bogeys for our man in Mexico!
As it was I said nothing and Will Mackenzie picked up a couple more birdies and finished tied for the lead
I already know who I'm backing this week, gonna go in as soon as all prices are up today and take the best price. Mostly on the win only, only enough on the ew bit to get my money back if he finishes 2nd to 5th. It's Stenson all the way. Hopefully they'll have Rory in short to help keep the price of Stenson up above 12/1. Rory has spent the past few weeks with his Lawyers etc, can't see him turning it on this week. Whereby Stenson loves the course, and if I hadn't switched on for just 1/2 an hour last week, and cost him 4 shots, he'd have sneaked home by 1 shot.
For starters I've gone for Louis Oosthuizen at 40/1, he's got good form here in the past and though he hasn't played that much recently, when he has his results have been pretty good (as Larry would say) in quality fields.
He started the year with a win and is more than capable of signing off with a win here.
Doubled with.....
Gonzalo Fedez Castano at 28/1 in the Dunlop Phoenix, where he has recorded 3 top 10's in the last 3 years.
I will undoubtedly chuck some more money at the DP WTC in Dubai.
Hey golf guys, I was poxy enough to win a £150 free bet that I need to use by sunday.
As you lot seem to take your punting fairly seriously, by actually doing research etc, is there anything you'd reccommend this week?
I dont really ant to punt it on a tournament winner longshot, but if theres maybe some tournament match bets I could put in an acca around 2/3/4/5/6 to 1?
Or something shorter u feel is a good thing that I can add into an acca from other sports?
There's not much big cricket going on atm, and after a look at this weekends football I'm struggling to find a use for it.

Hi DOHHHHHH...... Personally I'd just stick the lot on Stenson ew. Only 8/1 now, but u would double your investment if he came 2nd to 5th. Really can't see him out of the top 5

Hey up captain, nice £150 win that, hope you manage to turn it into some cash.
If you'd have asked last week, I might have been so bold as to suggest backing George Coetzee ew at 33/1 in the Turkish Open.
George finished 55th out of 78, so you are not getting any bold suggestions from me.
Good Luck and I'll be looking out to see what you decide to do and how you get on.
I've just seen my first bet Louis Oosthuizen is the headline tip with the sporting life, so that's put the mockers on Louis.
So to complete my portfolio I've gone for a few players with good Desert Swing form:
George Coetzee - 66/1, he was so disappointing last week, I didn't plan to back him again this year, let alone this week! But his results in this neck of the woods over the last 2 years are outstanding, so I've decided that my faith wasn't really misguided last week and that George just had an off week and will bounce back with vengeance this week.
Romain Wattel - 40/1, seven top eleven finishes in his last 8 events and a 3rd place finish in Dubai earlier this year, ticks some pretty big boxes. worth a punt at 40/1 for the win or 10/1 the place.
Thorbjorn Olesen - 55/1, won in Australia a few weeks back, but like Coetzee he had a shocker last week. Back home this week, in a region where he usually plays well, as 4 top 5's in his last 6 events in the middle east prove.
Danny Willett - 50/1, after giving me a place return at 66/1 last week, I can't say no this week. He looked to be driving the ball superbly last week, if he can keep that going this week and the back holds up, I don't think it would be a surprise to see him finish top 5 again, even in this field!
Rafael Cabrera-Bello - 150/1, another player who usually plays well in this region, in fact he's said in the past how much he enjoys playing in these conditions. Well capable of giving me a run for my money at very tasty odds of 150/1
its never simple this game - Switched on this morning to see 2 of my 3 players on 16 under - 4 shots clear of the field on the back 9 and now theyve both messed up and left with a sweat in last 4 holes.
Think i,m gonna start betting against the leaders in golf on the final day as some players just can,t handle the pressure
Today just showed again how shockingly poor Rory is in the wind. He's a lay lay lay when it's howling a gale. I jumped on Scott after his 1st round at 12/1, when he turned a 5 over par front 9, to a 3 over total and 7 off the lead. I still think 9/4 now is great value.
Have I missed something lately? How is Westwood favourite by some bookies for the Nedbank golf challenge??? Posted by FlashFlush
I've not checked prices yet Charles. But he did lap everyone round here 2/3 years ago didn't he?? When I saw the entry list, the 1st name to jump out at me was your mate Ousthuizen
