Two down weeks , Not Good so lets hope we can get back on track.

iiii- KEMPTON 2.00- BLUE DE VEGA 3-1 - 2nd last week hoping he can go one better today

iii- HAYDOCK 1.30 -AASLEAGH DAWN 9-1 - Got it completely wrong last week going for an Irish raider when VERDANT BLUE was a certainty but hopefully this one better. champion Hurdle winning trainer and had a recent run . will like the ground

ii - MUSSELBURGH 3.00 - ORNATE 14-1 - One of my favourite trainers who had a poor year last year. Horses in form this year and this horse won last time. Was a lot better horse than this current rating so hoping he has his mojo back . NON RUNNER

i- 2.05 HAYDOCK - CUBSWIN 10-1 - Another horse that won last time out and hoping he can keep run going

    OTHER FANCIES

    KEMPTON 3.45 - DANCING BRAVE BEAR 16-1

    HAYDOCK

    2.40 UHLAN BUTE 7-1
    3.15 SKIDOOSH 7-1

    MUSSELBURGH

    1.50 - RASELASAD 13-2
    2.25- AMADEUS GREY 14-1
    3.00- SAVALAS 10-1 AND ROYAL BRAVE 10-1
    3.35 - AUSTRIAN SCHOOL 4-1 AND TOR 20-1

Daphne, I noticed two in race but this looked like first choice to me. As it happened another loser. Will stop doing this now, the Irish raiders angle is very suspect.

Lets hope we can keep run going

iiii- SANDOWN 1.50 - HARAMBE 10-1 - Won his last two races on the bridle and hoping this mark is lenient. Danger HUMBLE HERO 15-2 - 2ND AND 3RD out done by GETAWAY TRUMP

III - SANDOWN 3.35 - STEP BACK 8-1 - Won this easily last year and was running superbly in grand National if it was a right handed course. Unfortnately it aint and jumping continually right lost him loads of lengths but still in touch at Bechers second time round until pulled up. This will suit. 3RD

Dangers - JOE FARRELL 16-1 LOST AND BEWARE THE BEAR 16-1 LOST

ii - 3.30 RIPON 3.30 - LUCKY DEAL 9-4 - With AUSTRIAN SCHOOL being the plan in last weeks race where this horse was one of three other JOHNSTON horses it looks like that race was a prep for this race over longer distance. Horse kept out back and finished like a train over shorter trip than today. 2ND, wrong effing Johnston horse, let other dominate pace, true run 2mile and LUCKY DEAL would have won it

i- 2.20 RIPON - NEW GRADUATE- 9-4 - Already backed in from 9-2 hope still some value for horse who could well be miles ahead of handicappers rating on handicap debut. Stable in form. WINNER backed down to 5/4 and very impressive. Follow

    OTHER FANCIES

    SANDOWN

    2.25 BLACK CORTON 7-2 WINNER
    4.10 WITH DESCRETION 15-2 NR

    HAYDOCK

    1.30 GREAT BEAR 11-4 4TH
    2.05 SAFE VOYAGE 15-2 WINNER

    LEICESTER
    1.40 ZEYZOUN 8-1 NR

    RIPON
    2.55 STAXTON 10-1 3RD

I thought Harambe was given a shocking ride ...caught on heels a few times and never put in a good position . Never rated Hutchinson as a decent jockey .

I'm sorry but maybe on this occasion he didn't win.... but he is one of the Top 3 Jockeys riding now.... and whichever one of Alan King's horses he picks, it will ALWAYS finish in front of the other one. He knows the Time of Day....is a VERY good jockey,.... and you avoid him at your peril. I would always have him on my side.....

........but you make your own choices......

What won the Bet365 Gold Cup??

Nice to see a couple of mates having a banter here. One thing I will say Hutchinson ten times better than Kings old jockey Chocolate "I'll force him into this fence and unbalance him" Thornton.

Need to look at race to see what he did.

Just watched couldnt blame Hutchinson for that best horse won unfortunately and one on his inside came across him slightly twice between final two fences which didnt help.

Joint 3rd on Strike Rate..... which I would say is the fairest thing to go on :)

I wasn't on the'Mushrooms' last night..... but i had had several bottles of Coors, 3 pints of G+T, x6 bottles of Sol, x2 glasses of Prosecco, one and a half pints of Snakebite +black, x2 pints of Vodi'n'Lilt, and a pint of Vodi'n'Ginger Beer with a Toffee Vodka top (tastes like Gingerbread :) )

.... but I still rate Wayne Hutchinson in my Top 3 British Jockeys

NOT THAT CONFIDENT THIS WEEK BUT HERE GOES

iiii- NEWMARKET 1.50 - POWER OF DARKNESS 7-2 -Marcus Tregoning already had one big winner this season and hoping stable getting back to its old level. iii- GOODWOOD 1.35 - SHAMBRA 7-1 - Won last flat outing and ok with good to firm. A lot better horse over jumps since then and hoping he has improved beyond his flat handicap level as well. 3RD just plugged on and easily beaten by RYDAN

ii- GOODWOOD 2.40- LOVE DREAMS 9-2 - Trainer has good record at this course and this horse came second last time. Won C & D race off seven pounds higher last May. 2ND Looked all over winner with furlong to go and Jockey caught out by one who came from nowhere
