When your diary update is before midnight then it's rarely a good sign.

    From a fellow pre-midnight updater.....

bongo69: same old .****....favoured forum (bingo monkey) players and clowns like leski

I think I was the favoured forum (bingo monkey) :)

As always it was a joy playing tonight.
Got out of a little hole this time and I'm where I started with the £3 rebuy still running.

Last £11 was fun. Down to 115 chips with 5 left I cashed. Nutcase was killing everyone on the table and I squeaked through.

If I go deep in then I may futher post about the thrills and spills of 1 tabling the £3 rebuy

As everyone loves bad beats, here we go
I won't post 20 or so but here is basically every mtt exit for the last 3 months barring last Sunday when I won a couple of hands in a mtt

Limper utg and I have AK on the button and raise. Limper calls. A 3 3.
    Limper has 10 3 off
    GG me

It's really beginning to titts me off tbh.

Won a few dyms so far tonight though so that's ok

    Derby are crappp.

Results back say all is normal so that's good. Still need to get to the bottom of what exactly it is but it shouldn't be anything nasty.

    Derby is flooded.
Was meant to meet Melissa at Wollaton Park yesterday as it was a year since we met and that was the first place we saw each other.
After being stuck in Derby for an hour I had to give up.
It was disappointing but we eventually met and had a good day.

    A busy few days

Due to circumstances I’ve changed a few things in my life which will help me be a lot happier long term.

Harry’s Mum has been diagnosed with a very serious illness.
It’s very sad and i’m praying she’ll get through it for her and Harry’s sake.

We’re now on good terms after a difficult time which is very good.
She’s really positive about beating it which i’m sure can only be helpful.

I’ll get to see Harry a lot more as she’ll need a lot of help. My Mum is still very close to Penny and she went through the same thing and so she’s being really supportive

No grumpiness about little things from me anymore
We’re going to be very positive

I am sorry to hear this Paul, I hope Penny gets better soon, it's good that you're on good terms now, good for Harry and also because she'll need your support.

Really hard to find the right way of replying Paul, but I very much echo the sentiments of the others.

Life is not always fair, is it?

    Thanks gents
I really appreciate it. It’s good to know who your friends are when there’s tough times

The last two years have been horrendous for Penny
We divorced last year which was a mutual decision and the right one. We knew that we would both be happier apart and this would also mean a happy child. However it’s still horrible when you got through it.
This year her MS has moved on and she’s in pretty bad shape
Just when you think the poor woman has had enough to deal with, this happens.

It’s scary but it’s needs to be business as usual for us all regarding Harry.
I picked Harry up from Soccer Stars this afternoon and we had a pretty shoddy tea that his Mum would tell me off for but nevermind :)

    We watched Toy Story 4
I think i was slightly more into it than Harry

He went to sleep really well and is excited about wearing his pyjamas to school for Children in Need tomorrow

I might watch a bit of the England game now and have a riveting evening of Dyms after that

    Made £15
Made a huge mistake in one the last Dyms which annoyed me.
As you’re aware I’m fine when I make the right decisions and get unlucky...
Far more annoying when you make a bad decision

Regular dym traffic is a concern
I regged every game from £3 to £33 for just over 2 hours.
    141 points in that time.

A little while ago I’d make 200 points an hour playing Dyms. I think without serious hours that priority is just about impossible now at regular Dyms

Penny had her surgery on Friday and it went well.
She’s now got a month of recovery before she starts radiotherapy.
I’ve just dropped Harry off as she’s feeling well enough to have him and he wants to see his Mum too.

I played a bit last night and it wasn’t going very well. But then I won the megastack and got a huge bit of luck in my last £22 dym and ended up £170 up on the night so that’s ok.

No poker tonight as I have a friend coming over and we’re both off work tomorrow so we may have a couple of drinks

I think what might cheer you up ( a little I mean...perspective..) is some online video coaching from Mister PJ.... would you like me or Eddie Aitch to set it up? ;)

Keep strong, stay amusing and every now and then play poker!
