    22/6/13 Ascot 3.45

Unbeaten at 2, following up Lowther Stakes win when again making all in Cheveley Park at Newmarket. Stamina stretched over 7f on return and respected now back sprinting.
    Unplaced
Restless in stalls, steadied start, held up in rear, headway in midfield, effort and driven well over 1f out, edged right and no impression final furlong (tchd 14/1)

Good second at Salisbury next time and better expected this year. 17/5/13  4.25 York Winner!   Tracked leaders, pushed along over 2f out, led over 1f out, driven clear, readily (op 2/1)

    22/6/13 Ascot 5.00

From prolific family and dotted up in 10.4f York handicap on reappearance. Just as effective at this longer trip and will go on progressing.

    Slade Power

    22/6/13 Ascot 3.45

Progressive when winning 2 listed races last summer. Bit disappointing in Group 2 over C&D in October but back on track when third in Group 3 at the Curragh on return. Still lightly raced.

    Unplaced
Awkward leaving stalls and slowly away, took keen hold, held up in touch in midfield, ridden and effort 2f out, no impression but kept on inside final furlong, no threat to leaders (tchd 12-1)

Some strong form to his name last year, winning 6f maiden at Yarmouth. May have needed return at Ascot, though harder to excuse his finishing effort at Haydock (behind Robot Boy).

    Unplaced
Tracked leader, upsides from halfway and appeared to be going well, shaken up and led briefly over 1f out, folded tamely after (op 8/1 tchd 11/2)

    Robot's Boy

    24/6/13 Windsor 8.10

Progressed well in maidens, winning on return at Doncaster (5f) in April and lot to like about how he shaped when runner-up in a strong-looking 6f handicap at Haydock recently. Big player.

    Winner

Held up in 5th and off the pace, pulled out over 2f out, good progress after to lead just over 1f out, ridden and stayed on well (tchd 7/4)

Less exposed than many sprinters and followed his Ripon win at the start of the month with a good second to Harrison George (winner again since) at Nottingham. Could take some pegging back.
    4th
Chased leaders, headway from 2f out, ridden in 3rd inside final furlong and soon no extra under pressure, kept on same pace

Not beaten far in 1¼m Sandown Classic Trial on return and will relish longer trip, but possibly more of a Leger type. 3rd. Closely related to the high-class stayer Saddler's Rock. Not beaten far when third in the Sandown Classic Trial on return and filled the same position in the Derby 4 weeks ago. Place claim again.

    2nd
Held up, progress from over 4f out, took closer order in 5th into straight, soon ridden and closed into 2nd inside final furlong, kept on same pace without matching winner

Appreciated being stepped up to 1½m when scoring at Lingfield last season. However 3 starts for new yard this campaign haven't suggested he's a winner waiting to happen.

Just a Hamilton maiden to his name, but still unexposed and did well to chase home Roserrow in a C&D handicap last time (Gaul Wood third). Has a 2 lb pull for that defeat, and can't be dismissed.
