It's quiete complicated, that's abit odd u win the hand yet u achieve no more points. How much are u playing tin tin? How come the points of each player arnt on the leader board?

they cant and wont put other pplayers points up. think its to do with data protection or something similar.

forget relating points to hands, its just a curency for the rakeback system they have here. you would get many irate players if you could only gain points for rakeback if you only got them for winning the hand.

im playing pretty much the hours i would normally play, about 8-10 and on anything from 6-10 tables. i said i wasnt going to go chasing this promo so im not putting in any extra effort. 1st is decent but not the best they have had on offer and the other payouts are quite flat with no significant jump from 1 place to another. i know 1st would be taken by someone who isnt on it YET, but im happy if i get top 5. i usually run horrid in these promo's and that was another factor in me not going full steam.

yeah thats one reason why they wont publish them. its been discussed before on other threads and i cant remember sky's official response.

no i dont play 10 hours straight thru. maybe 3 hours at lunchtime, then the rest split up from about 6 til i decide its time for sleep.

poker isnt my main income, i just play for spending money on other things. i have a lot of free time hence why im on a lot. i do withdraw quite regular so never keep a large amount in my balance. theres always nights out, birthdays, some unexpected bills that need taking care of etc

yeah I was going to pm you or write in chat but I didn't see you on another table.  I pressed stand when the hand started cause I didn't want to play heads up against you, cause I know you play heads up a lot.  I wouldn't hit and run.  did u pack up early because of the run bad ?

Worst day today I think.  Played poor and felt so tired from playing and theres still 3 days left of the promo lol im such a lightweight In a more positive spin I played 4 tables for 2/3rds of the session and felt comfortable, barring one or 2 odd bet sizes and timing outs lol just wondering, my screen is 2//3rds full with 4 tables so say I want to add a 5th how would that work?

Was a weird day, My QQs beat AA, and my AA lost to QQ. lost with overpair queens to a set and a few other strange hands, I also hit a flush when someone was slowplaying AA and didn't win there stack, I was abit confussed in the hand im going to post them later.

Won a small amount but its more then what I started with when I sat down so oh well.

Im currently 8th on leaderboard, but play 5 and half hours today with mostly 4 tables, im hoping this will make a difference.

I would  put in a big effort for the last 3 days but im not sure how much it would help, I definatly cant get top 2 I don't think so not sure what position is realistic to get.

This was the hand where I hit my flush and didn't make the most of it.  I like my pre flop and flop play think that's fine, check the turn because if I bet I might not get to see river if someone shoves, so think that's okay.  But it really surprised me that all opponents called on flop, I thought id have to be against a better flush for them all to call, then when opponent leads out it looks very strong and I guess he had bigger flush.  The one thing I didn't notice at the time was the size of the lead out, would he do that with the nuts? I don't think so,

hey robbie i can see the bankroll goin up nicely well done buddy keep it up. Me personally was playing and running awesome this month until today played around 4 hours and lost around 180 on 20/30nl think half of it I lost was just through tilt though lol.

also I think aim for top 5 on the promo is a realistic target because the likes tintin/cash daddy are grinding machines

Yeah i cut short the session mate, that one with you  was standard in a 3bet pot HU but i was having some sickeners today. I assumed you had already clicked stand as it would of dealt the next hand before you had been able to leave it's fine anyway it probably would of been -ev for me to carry on playing, i was just majorly tilted by that point lol, good progress that you still had a profitable session even though it didn't go great- how are you finding the motivation to grind? i find it hard when weather is so nice- dunno how machines like cashdaddy and tintin do it. Keep up the good work anyway definetly seen a change in your attitude/mindset in your posts which is good, cya at the tables soon no doubt.

Ps dontellmum, cashdaddy, tintin have top 3 locked up, looks like pepo is definetly going to up there as well so top 4 probably locked up.  I am not grinding that much atm, so unless i get a sick grind in over the weekend 5th is very attainable mate with the hours your putting in.

How can we ever flat the river in hand 3?! You putting him exclusively on a better flush cos that's the only possible hand that beats you?

EDIT: Just read the bit below the hand and you are putting him on a flush. We can't narrow his range down that much, and as you say, generally that size bet isn't a very strong value hand.

Yeah the bankroll is slowly improving, little my little. That's easily done if u multitabling and things arnt going to plan, would be crazy to go o tilt when ur playing 12+ tables. Just enjoying the challenge of playing so much and trying to make a good profit, although today I didn't really feel like playing lol ha I no benc I open my windows and could feel the heat and thought am I really going to sit here for 6 hours and grind, once u get started it goes fairly quickly and plus its only until Sunday. Think it helps my balance was in a mess gives me more determination. 

I no just the flop worried me It felt certain in a multiway pot with 4 callers on flop somone had higher flush draw.  I can get value out of so much of his range tho, sets, 2 pairs etc.

Morning Update

Played 4 hours instead of 6 as parents have gone away so I have to keep letting the puppy out so its not the best conditions to play lol sister will be home later so going to play more in the evening so it should make it around a 8-10 hour day of poker which I would be happy with. 

The morning session was disappointing , found it too as I was playing 4 tables the whole session with few regs then normal so I didn't have a lot of reads on players. Also when card dead and had to play like a nitty TAG as the opponents were loose which annoyed me cause I don't usually play like that, so I was trying very hard not to tilt.  I lost a card through tilt that was silly really and its frustrating because I feel this limit is beatable if I stay focused tilt free and just think throughout every hand.  Never mind, was actually abit unlucky to come out losing still as I lost 3 big hands, one was the tilt one, 2 were flips, I had hit my cards on flop and got done runner runner on both, but if im going to play a lot this weekend then my account will show how I played I think, so the bad beats I should be able to get over.

Stayed 8th on the table which was disappointing as I grinded 4 table for 4 hours/3 tables for the other 2.  Guess I should pay compliment to those above me working hard for this, If I had to guess I don't think im near a lot of them in the table, but im still gonna put as much effort in as possiable and hope to improve my balance and also aim for top 5.  Will update tonight how evening session went.

Rubbish evening session, played well, but my all in hands were not good, and I shouldn't be losing what I did on them, particually dislike the full house one and the way I played the overcards/flush draw. Least I put 7 hours in all on 4 tables so hopfully I can climb the board.  Profits last few days have not been what I wanted but im getting unlucky on a few and hands and its making come away even, just abit of luck and ill be having 4+byin winning days.  Im convinced im going to have a big profit day before the weekend and the promotion is over.  Just going to keep playing to the best I can and keep mentally calm and im sure ill be rewarded.

Prety standard I think, my hand had gone down by the river and I did think he might have hit a set on turn, but it could also be AK with a club.  Happy with the bet sizing which set up a shove on river.  Don't see how else I can really play this .

I would of been stacked on all 3 hands above don't be too critical about hands like that , when you started the diary you would of been contemplating giving up and berating your luck about them hands, so as i said the other day definite signs of improvement and if i was table selecting i definetly wouldn't be choosing to sit at your tables. What do you think of nl10 now you have grinded the level for a little bit? much different to nl20? if so in what way..

Yeah im getting to critical lately I think, just frustrated at how im running.  Erm not massively different but there a lot of fishs that arnt regs, more flat calling and passive play, hardly no 4 betting light.  People are playing a looser range from positions I think aswell.  The regs are decent players.  Just because its 10nl doesn't mean everyones a bad player, they might only feel comfortable here or are multitabling huge amounts.  Thanks Benc, I wouldn't sit at your table either, unfortunately we have to play each other though due to the low numbers lol , u gonna stay playing cash when the promo is over or go back to heads up games?

Played in morning was meant to play 5 hours only played 3 hours was getting frustrated and hit a few bad beats so I decided to leave and come back in hour or two.  I was about 4 byins up in first 40 mins and after I went card dead I felt a lot of pressure not to muck things up, it put me off my game a lot, struggled to deal with that and started playing nerverously and making silly calls really.  Don't no why that happened. Finished 1 BYin up after bad beats for good size pots

BTW! this talk about people not entering the code ....I think its ridiculous they don't enter the code, its a competition so everyone wants to compete with each other.  If it doesn't make a difference then just enter the code? in my opinion sky should of set a deadline to enter, maybe end of 1st day.  They should also show the points.  This would be better, as like I said its a competition so lets no where we stand and compete.

This really surprised me , opponent was tight passive, so was abit surprised to see this, exact same hand the happened yesterday.

Also I unfortunately realised , If I get a bad beat like here I don't just lose £10, if I win ill have that £10 plus I win his money which is another £10.  So really I have to win 2 all ins to equal out the bad beat.  I wished I didn't realise this lol

What a disaster of a session in afternoon.  Maybe the hours caught up with me.  Felt so tired was making loose calls wasn't adapting and got about a million cold decks as usual.

I played 2 half hours when I was going to play 5, I won 2 hands over £3 and lost 12 over £3

Lost £40 in the session, so gutted I cant even explain.  Was really playing well thoughout the week and never really got rewarded for it.  I play bad and lose 4 byins ...just seems cruel.  

Not even sure if Ill play tomorrow, today iv played 5 hours the least of the week so I don't think im going to catch anyone above me.  If I played and lose the rest of my profit for the week aswell tomorrow id actually cry lol
