This is the trouble. As I'm sure you're well aware you will never get a proper feel of starting at the bottom and moving up as you're too well known, and everyone wants to play you. It's like back in the day on Master cash (Not sure if people still do it or not) when you get the same name playing 10nl and 200nl just to be shown on TV.

    Still do it

and yes it's a tough challenge for tikay as it will never be playing normal poker unless playing vs peeps who don't know him

I think tikay needs to find tables with only one or two seats open and leave them once the tk-hunters arrive

Indeed, those 2 hands would be hard to get off on a Q high flop/board.

    Alas, I held neither.

    Ahem.

Good Post, & largely true, but it's OK. I don't suffer from ego issues, I'm new to NLH Cash, & it is what it is, if I do the lot, so be it.

There have been some "dynamics" already, but it cuts both ways. A Community regular barreled me every street, but I flopped beautifully, called him every street, & improved to the abso nuts, but I just flatted in position his River Bet, as I wanted to see what he was playing. He had 3-4, & was playing the board, bless.

A few lads are owning me, too, especially when they have position on me. I'm a bit too passive oop, so I do get pushed around a bit. I've been quite aggro pre when I have position, though.

It's tremendous fun so far, & people have been so nice.

I've been mixing it up so far Gelders, I opened two Tables tonight, & was Heads Up for 10 minutes on both, which I did not much excel at, but other players soon join.

If hardcore "Regs" start taking advantage, I just turn it uposide down & don't try anything fancy, then play back when the spot arives. It was always so with me, I've always been too passive.

Reverting to NLH after playing so much PLO & PLO8 for so long has been a bit of a test, especially when 3 & 4 Tabling, but I'm getting there.

It is a lot easier sitting in the 861 Studio analysing other folks hands, mind.....

Ooh, thanks Dave. It won't be this weekend, I'm afraid, as I'll be up in Newcastle. Will try & join you next weekend though, if I am not working.

I LOVE "Community Poker". Best fun ever.

    Update

    Played 2 sessions today. in the Happy Hours 1pm - 2pm, & 6pm - 7pm.

I was mostly 3 Tables today, whilst I get up to speed, but I played 4 Tables briefly.

I found 4 Tables very hard at first yesterday, but much easier today, as I'm getting myself organised as to how I position my Tables, seating, etc.

    I played a mixture of Levels, 4p-8p, 5p-10p, & a 5p-10p "Capped" Table, too.

In the lunchtime session, I somehow got myself £40 down. I Button Raised with 6c-8c, got called by Mr Aggro, flopped 2 pairs, & we got the lot in on the A-8-6 flop. He had A-2, but rivered another Ace, so he stacked me.

I also did a full BI with 9-9 v A-A on a raggy taggy board, too, just did not put him on better. His Aces were good though....

I ran well after that, got lucky a few times, & ended up dropping about £2 on the session, so not so bad.

Similar this evening, got myself £25 down, but just gradually small-potted my way back to where I started. I'm not exactly pulling up trees, but I'm enjoying it so far.

    Starting Roll = £200

    Current Roll £196.55

    Overall Profit/Loss £3.45

    Starting 'Roll today £196.47

    Finishing 'Roll today £196.55

    Profit/Loss Today £0.08 (!)

    Reward Points today = 87

    Reward Points Overall = 127

I hear that Style & Rosiedog are quaking in their boots. No, they are.
