Very happy with this; a loss for the week, albeit a small one.

Haven't had the chance for as much exercise as I would have liked, and food wise could have been healthier.

Here is to a healthier and more exercise filled week.

    Update after week 5:

    Starting weight --- = 14st 12lbs (Target weight 12st 0lbs)
    Weight after Week 1 = 14st 7lbs
    Weight after Week 2 = 14st 6lbs
    Weight after Week 3 = 14st 3lbs
    Weight after Week 4 = 14st 2lbs

Managed a 1 lb loss on the week. (11 lb total)

Proper dieting that, Graham. I'd bet the shop that you will achieve your target.

Well done @StayOrGo & everyone else who is still with us.

After the disappointment of the previous weigh in (weight unchanged after the SPT week) I upped the exercise distance & speed this week, walking further & faster. (6 miles per day now, in 3 x 2 mile tranches).

A 3lb loss in a week exceeds my wildest dreams at this stage of the diet, when it gets more difficult to shift weight.

Good timing, too, as my diet ends at midnight next Thursday, completing exactly 20 weeks of dieting & getting fit.

2st 11lbs is more than enough, but if I can squeeze one more lb, to bring it down to a nice round 12 stones, I'll be very pleased indeed.

Roll on midnight on Thursday, then bring on the pork pies & sticky buns.

    Wow, well done Ryan @waller02

1 stone 6lbs, very very impressive.

You feeling the benefit of it yet? Clothes a bit looser?

    Thanks and likewise.

Yes, I'm feeling fitter in general. I had a blip for about about 3 or 4 weeks but I think I have found a routine that works for now (touch wood).

My tops fit a lot better and have stopped doing that annoying riding up the belly thing that they tend to do. I haven't dropped a jeans size yet although I don't think that will be too far off as I have gone from a tight 40" to now being able to do up the button without breathing in.

I have still got a long way to go, I want to get to around the 15st mark which is an ideal weight for me. I'm pretty sure that without this thread I would have lost all motivation, so thanks for coming up with the idea.

Sorry, a bit late with the update.

I did weigh myself on Friday and I stayed at 14st 9lbs.

For some reason* I seem to be eating more and exercising less in the warmer weather.

I also need @LARSON7 to nominate a charity to donate £10 to for last week, sorry I missed your reply. Part way through my challenge I decided to nominate £10 per week to charity. If I lose weight I pick the charity if I don't then the biggest loser of the week gets to nominate.

Before last week that was £50 to other peoples charities and £20 to mine.

So Larson just name a charity that I can make an online donation to and I will.

and now it looks like @Tikay10 (3lb last week) gets to nominate a charity too.

    Another awesome result for Tikay.

*For some reason, read laziness and lack of will power, coupled with a liking for choc ices and cold beer.

Really must get walking more often and more swiftly.

    ^^^^

    Thanks @Phantom66

I'd like you to nominate the Charity please.

Do I owe any more to Charity?

    13:12:4 this week.

Been a good week, ate reasonable with a reasonable amount of exercise.

Also end of the football season, so no more half time pies is going to help quite a bit!

Does anyone drink diet drinks on a regular basis?

Apparently these sort of drinks can be as "bad" as full fat drinks due to what they use in replacement of sugar.

    Progress. Finally. Keep going all.

    Ok so some good news.

    1. The Salvation Army are £20 (+gift aid) richer (I sent @LARSON7 a screenshot to confirm)
    2. I have lost some weight this week (kinda)

    The bad news.

Over the whole week I put on 1 lb (I did an unofficial spot check and was shocked to be over 15st on Monday).

So beer rationing is in place. Choc ices are out. Walking has restarted properly.

    Official figures

    Starting weight 15st 2lb
    Weekly loss -1 lb
    Current weight 14st 10lb
    Target weight 14st

Another charity nomination for this weeks top loser to follow.
