Brexit has already cost average UK worker more than week's wages due to post-referendum price rises, research shows
UK households are already paying the cost of Brexit due to higher prices, a new study has shown. The average worker has had to spend more than £404, equivalent to more than a week’s wages, in the first year after the Brexit vote, according to a report by the Centre for Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy (CAGE). The findings suggested the average household had to spend £7.74 more per week to afford the same purchases the year after the referendum. Economics professor Dennis Novy, who contributed to the report, said: “It is clear that the average UK household is already paying the price for voting to leave the EU.

As I said I am not really that bothered.
Although the reason that I would have no problem believing the article, is that as we import much of our food, and the pound has fallen in value since the referendum, then it logically follows that prices of our imports will have increased. That just seems sensible.
I am uncertain why you would say that price increases from a year ago are not applicable, unless of course prices have been reduced since. I have not fallen over any evidence of this, but to be truthful I haven't really searched for any. Although if there was any evidence I would have expected to have seen some on the searches that I did. If the price of something rose substantially last year, why would it be irrelevant if people are continuing to pay the increased price. I would hope that if the remain camp were coming up with bogus evidence to support another referendum, then they could do much better than food baskets rising by a relatively small amount. Even though Brexiteers swear that our prices will be reduced. Despite the fact that I have said a number of times of late that there is definitely not a majority in Parliament that support a second referendum you continue with this theme. To say never about anything in politics is foolish. To get a referendum would need Labour Party support, and despite the support of a majority of their members, voters, and many MPs, Mr Corbyn is not currently disposed to one.
Anything can still happen.
The Meaningful vote scheduled for next week may well be delayed, taking us ever closer to the deadline, and no deal.
There is no movement on The Backstop.
We are no closer to getting The Withdrawal Agreement through.
The Labour MPs are struggling to make any sense of their latest position, or how they got there, in tv interviews.
While the Tory Brexiteers take every opportunity they have to **** The PM off.

You now sound like someone with windless sails.
Once again , I will ask in the vain hope of trying to getting a sensible answer from you ..what is the point of you still arguing the case for remain , when that ship has already sailed ? and also why bother arguing what you think are the negative effects of brexit , when we can't actually do anything about it now ?
I genuinely think , along with most remainers , you are basically a "short termist" ..never heard you mention once about the long term possibilities for brexit and the effects that might have on future generations ...only heard you talk about yourself and your own experiences .

The 2nd one also from 2017 ...not relevant .
You posted a nonsense remain biased yahoo article from some wannabee , who can't substantiate the claims that prices have risen as a result of Brexit , and neither can you .
Not up to me to disprove it , its a non article .
It's typical remain scaremongering without foundation or proof ..why you and your camp would continue to argue the case against leaving with unsubstantiated hyperbole , really is totally beyond me . We are never going to have a 2nd referendum , so on that basis , why would the remain camp even bother with this stuff ? We will be leaving the EU , one way or another and that's it .
Since the referendum prices for timber have risen substantially, the reason our suppliers give is they buy in $ and the £ has dropped against the $. We have to adjust our prices accordingly.
When I was going on holiday and purchasing $ prior to the vote I got £1-$1.42, today’s value ? Meh .
Some people would say £ v $ doesn’t affect them, well if they buy anything made of timber it does.
You said they haven't.
I genuinely think , along with most remainers , you are basically a "short termist" ..never heard you mention once about the long term possibilities for brexit and the effects that might have on future generations ...only heard you talk about yourself and your own experiences .
