Brexit means....well a whole load of trouble and loss of income for many,
the end of Free travel will be exactly that...pay more when going abroad for
    those that can afford it.
For many that voted leave it wont be a huge difference , as Bob said " when you aint got nothin ...you got nothin to lose ".
IMO they should have a 2nd vote ASAP .

It is hardly surprising that Goldon seems to be a staunch supporter of the Hungarian President

The EU has struggled to respond as Orban’s Fidesz government has used two election victories to pass a new constitution and reshape Hungary according to its will. Critics say it has eroded judicial independence and appointed staunch loyalists to key positions. It has turned state-owned media into a propaganda machine, and helped loyal oligarchs buy up most independent media. Since Orban built razor-wire border fences in 2015 to keep out refugees from Syria and the Middle East, moreover, his nationalism has become even harder-edged.

Isn't that the most repulsive thing ever?

People from Syria & the Middle East just want a better life, free from tyranny & bombs, for them, & their children. Is that such a sin? Would it be too much for all of us to show some tolerance & understanding to those who were not lucky enough to be born in a safer country? Sure, it might dilute our quality of life slightly (or make it better...) but so what?

I read yesterday that another 100 migrants drowned in the Med last week. That makes at least 3,000 who have perished in the Med alone this year, trying to find a better life. 3,000 is a similar number to 9/11. One gets zillions of acres of media coverage, the other a footnote.

@Tikay10 it bugs me that so many people that complain about immigration ignore the
fact that many have family that have moved abroad , or come to the UK to better themselves and family.

Unfortunately the result of the referendum has shown how small minded, and mean spirited many people are.

New York overtakes London as top financial centre; Brexit blamed

LONDON (Reuters) - New York has overtaken London as the world's most attractive financial centre, a survey said on Wednesday, as Britain's decision to leave the European Union prompts banks to shift jobs out of the city to preserve access to Europe's single market.

Britons face return of EU roaming charges under a 'no-deal Brexit'

Britons will face a return to phone roaming and data charges when they travel in the EU in the event of a no-deal, the government is expected to warn tomorrow.
Government sources have told Sky News that roaming charges - abolished since June 2017 after changes to EU regulation - would return if there is a "no-deal" Brexit.

Phone roaming and data charges cost British consumers an estimated £350m a year before they were abolished by the EU.

You were right the other day when you said you don't do serious, you should stick to writing your nonsense, and go through life pretending to be deaf and blind.

You are a living example of why we should never have referendums.

Go and live in Hungary, I am sure you would be very welcome.

Parliament initiates steps under Article 7 over Hungary's 'systemic threat' to EU values

The EU parliament voted Wednesday to sanction Hungary for posing a "systemic threat" to EU values and the rule of law, initiating punitive action under the EU's rarely invoked Article 7, which could suspend Hungary's voting rights.
The European Parliament on Wednesday launched an action that could unleash unprecedented political sanctions against Viktor Orban's populist Hungarian government for posing a "systemic threat" to the EU's founding values.

EU parliament pushes Hungary sanctions over Orban policies

STRASBOURG (Reuters) - The European Parliament voted on Wednesday to sanction Hungary for flouting EU rules on democracy, civil rights and corruption in an unprecedented step that left Prime Minister Viktor Orban isolated from powerful allies.

I assume that if I asked you which of this mans policies you support, you would remain as silent as you have been over the advantages of leaving the EU, or just post some more silly nonsense.
