Things I know about Brexit. 1.The majority of the country voted to leave. 2.The E.U. leaders didn't like the result. 3.You can't have a leader overseeing something they don't fully believe in. 4.The proposed deal didn't appease Brexiters or Remainers. 5.The best thing about it all,is the man dressed in E.U. colours with his placards, who manages to get into each SkyNews interview. And finally whatever the outcome, the average person will still continue to get ****** by all politicians whoever they represent.

1. In 1 sense only. 37% (17.4m) voted leave, 35% (16.1m) voted remain, 28% (13m) didn't vote of the people who could vote. A further 15-20m were not allowed to vote as not on the electoral roll (under 18, foreign, etc). That said, think we have to leave. 2. True 3. Of course you can. Politicians do it all the time 4. True, though I think it says more about those 2 camps. Thought we were supposed to be the best compromisers in the world. 5. Not seen him-sounds fun
Finally-only definitely!
What really annoys me is the total inaction of the extreme brexiteers-if they really cared about this country and their beliefs they would have challenged May while there was still enough time to negotiate. I have never previously believed the "we're all doomed" merchants, but for the first time there is a real risk of major financial problems.

Unfortunately, what they have just published is the Withdrawal Agreement, and the Backstop. Neither side is happy, but it is going to take another few years to finalise the future trading arrangements.
So Sky news will probably have to include the man with the placards in the programme credits before long.
Rory Stewart apologises after making up Brexit stat
Rory Stewart has apologised after making up a Brexit statistic whilst on BBC Radio 5 Live. Speaking to presenter Emma Barnett, he claimed 80% of the British public supported the prime minister’s Brexit deal. Pressed by Emma as to where he had got the information, he said: “I’m producing a number to try to illustrate what I believe.” He later added, “I totally apologise and I take that back”
Police Federation: No-deal Brexit could lead to disruption, danger, delays and rationing
Police fear the fallout from a "no-deal" Brexit could lead to "widescale disruption and dangers for the general public" and have warned they may not have the resources to cope. Officers also say they have had "limited information" from the government about how to prepare for Brexit, fear a return of violence to Northern Ireland and have raised the spectre that rationing may need to be introduced to fend off panic buying.
Just watched Barry Gardner on Question Time, not sure where he lives, but I was expecting a dwarf shouting "the plane, the plane" to appear at any moment.

Brexit politicians 'lied' to the British people, France's finance minister claims
British politicians are ‘liars’ who tricked people into voting for Brexit, France’s finance minister has claimed. And Bruno Le Maire has also claimed that Brexit was a ‘historical mistake’ which could end in disaster for the UK.

Moderate Tories warn anti-EU 'purists' they could turn against Brexit if Theresa May's deal is torn down
Moderate Conservatives have warned they will push Britain towards tighter relations with the EU or even turn against Brexit altogether if “purists” in their party tear down Theresa May’s draft withdrawal deal. A string of Tory MPs told The Independent that Eurosceptic colleagues who have begun a sustained push to bring down both Ms May and her Brexit plans, should not be mistaken that a no-deal exit risking the livelihoods of British people is obtainable. The moderates say the only remaining option if Brexiteers block Ms May’s approach will mean being more closely bound to the single market or even revisiting the 2016 referendum result. Their warning comes as the Eurosceptic wing of the Conservatives launched a coordinated campaign against the draft deal to be signed off at an EU summit next weekend, and pushed for a vote of no confidence in the prime minister.
