@Essexphil asked how I was getting on in the Tourneys.
Not great money-wise - 2 very small cashes from 6 attempts so far, but loving every minute.
THE best experience in poker is to play a WSOP event, & I've played 1 so far this trip, a baby one, $565 PLO.
It was THE best fun ever.
Managed to just about stumble into the money, 261st of 2,419 runners, for a whopping $873. (The ticket says 136th, but that was 136th in Flight B, Flight A was paid separately).
Now, for context, I was at the tables from 4pm until 2am without a food break, just 20 minute comfort breaks every 2 hours.
I earned ($873 minus entry fee of $565) $308. Turn that into £££'s & it's around £230.
Now I sold about 50% of my action, so that means I won £115.
Which took me 10 hours, or £11.50 per hour.
Never enjoyed earning £115 so much in my life, best fun ever.
That picture was taken by a very good friend who I've known for years called Melissa Hayden.
Back in the day she lived in New York and hung out at the Mayfair club where people like Erik Seidel, Paul Magreil, Dan Harrington and Phil Laak used to play poker and backgammon. Howard Lederer used to sweep the floor and make the coffee. She came to the series in the 90s to take pictures, she was a photographer back then and very much inspired by Dianne Arbus.
After a few years of hanging out she started playing a bit and became one of the best women players.
Have a look at her Wiki and you can find an amazing claim to fame involving the legendary Stuey Ungar.
Already packed @Tikay10, the checklist is now complete after the dollars arrived today. Just need to sleep away the next 6 days as I’m flying out a day earlier just because I can, whoop whoop, can’t wait.
More pics and info on the Vegas trip if you please, Mr Tikay. June 11th your last post, this is unacceptable. Please post forthwith, or asap if not sooner. tia
Thanks for a great thread Mr Tikay - have read it every day but couldn't comment as I was out of the country and couldn't log into my account. Hope you're too busy crushing the tables to post this week

Fair comment Chump, fair comment.
Choose whatever excuse suits you best;
a) Playing a lot of poker, & getting proper knocked about. Lots of long days but only 3 min cashes from around 10 attempts.
b) Got streaming cold & a bad chest, likely due to the aircon.
c) Gill arrived on Saturday, so I wanted to make her arrival very special, & arrange a few surprises for her.
d) Been unable to log in on my Company Account, (probably as I'm in the USA) so using my personal account (which, oddly, does work) , which I never use for Forum posting, I only use it for playing.
Anyway, got a bunch of random photos which I'll try & upload now.
I'll post some regular photos first, but if time permits, I'll be posting something which is not only a little, err, graphic, but which I confidently predict is a cure for erectile dysfunction. I mean, it's HOT stuff, very hot.

OK, that'll do for today, more blathering stories & blurry photos soon.
Hope you enjoyed at least some of them.
Keep up the good work.
When the Teekster was showing the monorail, that was proving
"Walmart's Tram Law", namely that
"Rail delivers reviled liar".
On 1 of the pictures earlier, I thought it was a famous Australian Actor, until i remembered that:
"No, Mel Gibson is a casino's big lemon"
also, Tony forgot the waitresses revenge with the Haagen Dazs:
"Stressed? No tips? Spit on desserts"

Are b) and c) something to do with the recent eBay purchase of a Mankini?
Hope you feel better soon.
Looking forward to pics.
