If I knew the difference between a Policeman, a State Trooper & a US Marshal, I'd explain them to you. But I don't.
I do, however, know that "US Marshal" & "State Trooper" sounds jolly exciting, much more so than, say, Police Constable.
These two US Marshal cars attended some problem Downtown the other day, after a lady sort of lost her mind & started ranting & raving at all & sundry. US Marshals escorted her away, but the "Metro" Police seemed wholly disinterested in the entire fracas. ("Metro" police are the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department).
At The Orleans Casino, they have a Lorry Park & offer discounted rates to drivers to lodge at the Hotel overnight, & as a result, there are some fabulous sights in the lorry park.
Ooooooooooh look at the bumpers on that, hope the bigwigs at Sky don't find out your putting **** on the forum. Keep the updates coming but get plenty of poker in to Tikay.
NFL fans will know that the LA Raiders are transferring the franchise across to Las Vegas, to become the Las Vegas Raiders, & a brand new, $2 billion stadium is now being constructed.
For those not familiar with Las Vegas, the site is right across the road from McCarron Airport. The road is the southern end of Las Vegas Boulevard, near the famous "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign.
You will recognize Mandalay Bay Hotel, scene of the shooting tragedy last year, and the showground where the fatalities occurred is also just the other side of the strip, & adjacent the corner of the Airport occupied by the US Military.
Stretching away to the left, as we look, is Luxor, & then the Las Vegas Strip itself.
I happened across a compound or "lot" where the iconic USA School Buses were parked overnight.
This lot along had over 150 of them, all belonging to the Clark County area. (Las Vegas sits within Clark County).
So I was curious to find out how many School Buses there were in the USA.
The answer was.......484,000.
That's a whole lot of buses.
Interesting fact about these US school buses, Fist Group operates 49000 which I think makes it the largest single operator, got a feeling they also have Greyhound.
Keep the 'interesting' pictures coming and good luck getting some more cashes
Last night was the Welcome Drinks thing, held in a suite at Venetian. To be fair, many of those present had already had a drink or two since arriving in Vegas, in fact several had not been to bed since arriving.
How many of this mixture of fine people & reprobates can you recognize?
Not really "Vegas" but we went up the Coast to Portland & Seattle for a couple of days, & a chance to do some trains, boats & planes.
In Seattle, we went up to the observation tower of the Space Needle, this thing;
It's a bit odd really, it exists for no other reason that an observation platform for Tourists. Right little money spinner though, been there since the World's Fair in 1962, & even now, 56 years on, you have to book weeks in advance & there are queues all day every day, 365 days per year. At $20 per head, that's tidy money, year after year.

So, to the GRAPHIC CONTENT.
Did you ever see a more cool, sexy, erotic lorry than this? I don't think so. Feast your eyes on this babe.
If this does not get you revved up, nothing will.
It is a Peterbilt. Here you go, here's the Peterbilt wiki page;

Nobody does trucks like the Americans. Peterbilt and Kenworth and Mack. The film 'Convoy' is pawnography! (typo deliberate)

This is what it will look like when complete;
They still need to finish a few bits & bobs.

The fun has started - here's @omm, living the dream in a Rio Deepstack today.
It's the Welcome Drinks do tonight, so hopefully I'll get a few photos of the qualifiers.
Last time I saw a face like MattBates, the whole herd had to be destroyed
Enjoy all-not even slightly jealous....

Correct - though it's First Group, not Fist Group, which was one of those uncomfortable typos I fancy.
Scottish-based business, too, headquartered in Aberdeen of all places.

Tidy views of Puget Sound & Downtown Seattle, too.
