Tikay have you gone to bed?

Any updates at the tables and at the bar?

Not much happening at the tables, but it's all action at the various bars here. There are going to be some serious hangovers tomorrow morning, trust me.

    Morning all.

Another filthy morning here in Glasgow, low, thick, grey clouds & tipping with rain, exactly the same as yesterday morning.

I'm just typing up & collating the Day 1 Chip counts, will post them here as soon as I'm done, maybe 45 minutes.

Great day 1, had fun at both of the tables that I was sat at, spirit and banter was great throughout.

Contrasting tables though - First table next to Tikay who stayed on the same stack for 6 hours then 2nd table with Rab (Robert McCarroll) who was trying to keep up with Dog Bloke in the Jaegerbombs and Sambucha's hence reason he got to 230k - his moto was nothing wrong with a bit of dutch courage - might see if that helps me for day 2!!

Good luck those running today and look forward to joining the fun again on Sunday.

    Ciao for now

You mention 47 made it through, but only 46 names - you seem to have your missed your own chip stack off here, was that a typo or are you keeping your almighty stack a secret?

    Play has commenced.

Surprisingly, just 54 runners so far, though Team Groggs are still at the bar. Fancy that.

I'll have you know I played the very first hand. Kings, with the K of spades & the flop came all spades. Easy game.

Then 3 way with 2 at-it merchants, & I had 4-3 cc. It came J-J-9, hh, & it went c-bet call & I 3 bet, & they all folded as good as gold.

Total entries & re-entries now over the 2 days is 280, = £56,000, so that's the guarantee left in the rear-view mirror.
