"More than happy for airlines, countries, stadiums, pubs, cinemas etc etc to want proof of vaccination.

Gives people the freedom of choice; those that want to get life back to some normality can take the vaccine and crack on, and those anti-vax nutjobs can choose to refuse it and face the social consequences."

    Absolutely this.

Australian airline Qantas hit the headlines last week after it said that all those wishing to take its flights would need to be vaccinated against Covid-19.

The carrier's boss, Alan Joyce, said the move was a 'necessity' and it was likely to become a 'common thing' for airlines around the world.

He warned, during an interview with Australia's Nine Network, the airline was looking at ways to change its terms and conditions for international travellers.

He said: 'We will ask people to have a vaccination before they can get on the aircraft for international visitors coming out and people leaving (Australia) we think that's a necessity'

So if the boss man/women of a company doesnt feel the need for a vaccine jab, then they won’t be allowed into their own offices/ factories?

Why wouldn't they ''feel the need'' for the vaccine?

If they are potentially that irresponsible then I'd imagine they will be removed/marginalised from their position. And if they are the 'boss boss', then they might wanna reconsider their stance to ensure the future of whatever their business might be. Or work from home forever.

Better off asking the 8 out of 10 that are asymptomatic, and the vast majority that supposedly have had it with no illness.

I'm asking you cos you raised it, can't you answer?

The fact that seemingly a lot of people have had it whilst showing no symptoms is part of the problem.

Corona creates a perfect virus storm; it's contagious, a lot of people could have it and not realise, a lot of people can have it with very mild symptoms, ultimately putting a lot of people at risk, particularly those in the vulnerable groups. And it is more deadly than your common flu, which already see's off thousands every year.

It's not just the death rates either of course. Some people are suffering with Covid for months, and our NHS doesn't have the resources to deal with a mass outbreak, even more so over winter.

Suppressing the virus to alleviate the pressure on the NHS and keep deaths to a minimum until a vaccine is rolled out is the aim of the game.

Thankfully, it looks like a vaccine might be edging closer, and also thankfully the anti-vax nutjobs seem to be a vocal minority.

Those that choose not to be vaccinated can face the social consequences.

    I’m aware of the above.
So then ,those encouraged to have a jab, which will likely be a high %, who do the unvaccinated catch it from? And even then, it will be a miniscule amount that would fall ill.
    It’s there choice.
Unless it’s ya Costa Brava hol that’s the major concern. How ironic.

    I'm down with that.

More than happy for airlines, countries, stadiums, pubs, cinemas etc etc to want proof of vaccination.

Gives people the freedom of choice; those that want to get life back to some normality can take the vaccine and crack on, and those anti-vax nutjobs can choose to refuse it and face the social consequences.

How ironic.
It would be wrong to make it compulsory, in a democracy there should always be a choice.

The choice should be to get vaccinated, or stay in.

How ironic.
So....it's a good idea for as many as possible of the population to be vaccinated, no?
    Evidence suggest otherwise.

    Sociopathic media rules OK!

The above articles were written by politicians.
So what? And amplified by the media.
    Politicians lie, remember 💡

    Two of them were Tories.
So nobody will be allowed to move around the world without notification of having had a jab?
And you rubbish Vespas conspiracy thread?
UK's Covid vaccine minister suggests bars, cinemas and football stadiums could BAN Brits who haven't had jab as he admits No10 is looking at 'immunity passports'
Baroness Dido Harding told NHS bosses her team was 'looking at' the plans
They have been touted as a way to get swathes of society 'back to normal'
Travel companies signalled their support, saying it could kick-start the industry

Nadhim Zahawi MP warned businesses may start requiring proof of vaccination in the same way they now ask customers to check-in on the NHS Covid-19 app using QR
    codes.

5 kids have “ supposedly” died from “ Covid” in 9 months.
So just the vulnerable and others that feel the need.
You just dont seem to get it.

Even though kids may well be the least vulnerable, they still spread the virus, and kill others.
Not if the others have a jab😱

Providing the jabs are gooduns, obv.

They will catch it from each other and also infect those that the vaccine hasnt been effective on.

    Any vaccine wont be 100%.

    I think you mean their.
So let’s say any of them are thought to be 90%+ effective, and millions get vaccinated.
That leaves 10’s of thousands that aren’t protected who have had the jab.
1000’s of elderly die over the winter period, fact.
I’d be more interested in the performance of this years flu jab.
Whatever jabs are administered, thousands are due to die in the next few months.
Fast forward to the head scratching .
