There's definitely a few dodgy territories to navigate through on that route.

    Hence the "Virtual".

Although I am seriously looking at a huge challenge for 2025 as I intend to raise money for Maccas Project, a MIND ringfenced charity supporting mental health in the young (12-21 year old age group) in Stoke and North Staffordshire.

A quick analysis of the data shows that riding 94Kms, about 5 hours at current pace, per day would take 240 days to complete. That leaves 125 days for rest / recovery. So a 2 days on 1 day off schedule would see it conquered.

Probably start New Years Day 2025 and aim to complete Christmas Day 2025, which would give me a year to organise some publicity and sponsorship

I'm really beginning to think this is looking possible. Thanks for inspiration @lucy4.

Whip-Ma-Whop-Ma-Gate is a street in York, England, known for its short length and unusual name. A continuation of Colliergate, it runs south to meet Pavement, Fossgate, and the Stonebow, and is adjoined by St Saviourgate on its eastern side. St Crux Parish Hall, originally one of York's medieval churches, backs onto it.

The street's name was first recorded in 1505 as Whitnourwhatnourgate, and later appears as Whitney Whatneygate. It seems to mean "neither-one-thing-nor-the-other street", although a plaque on the end of the parish hall suggests the meaning "what a street!"

    No. 1½ Whip-Ma-Whop-Ma-Gate
