I meant that I thought you were correct. You are either betting that she will be still in the job, or that she will be gone. Those are the odds on her being gone rather than remaining in the job.

Think that price is too short, even though is certainly odds on.
Tories have nothing but awful choices.
If they get rid of her, it will be extremely difficult to avoid calling a General Election. Replacing a leader elected by the Public with a PM only voted for by a small sliver of the Electorate is 1 thing. But replacing her with 1 that is not even voted for in accordance with current Tory Rules is surely a step too far. And they could not leave us (again) with no leader during a cost of living crisis.
It's a measure of just how bad Truss is that they are considering likely annihilation at the polls as preferable to continuing with Truss.

I think you are giving the Tories far too much credit. Firstly they will not wear a General Election at any price. Secondly, isnt it therefore likely the men in grey suits that will convince her that it is impossible for her to continue. It would then not surprise me that due to the current circumstances the 1922 would change the rules, maybe as a one off, to elect a new leader without going to the membership, and just have a vote amongst MPs. There was talk of them implementing this permanently for periods when they are in power, and allowing the membership a vote when they are in opposition, Or even to confine it to one candidate again. Doing this would allow them to remove Truss, remain in power, and at least allow them the opportunity to improve the situation before the General Election, however difficult that may be. The Tories only do stuff that suits the Tories, they rarely consider anyone else,
Clear that the Bookies think Truss will not make it as far as the next election. If I was Sunak, I would now want to be the leader after next. Think a temporary leader will come in-Hunt/Gove, and hold a leadership election to be held immediately before a General Election.
The Conservative Party have urgent priorities. The main one is its own survival. There are 2 major risks to the survival of the Tories:-
1. They need to come a clear 2nd (or better) in the next election; and 2. They need to beware the creation of a new, alternative, Right Wing Party. Like Macron did in France. There are several Right-Wingers who would be more likely to lead a new Party than the Tories. Not just Farage-Braverman, Priti Patel, Tugendhat, Javid.
I believe the current mood in the Tory Party is survival, coupled with winning the election after next.

@HAYSIE
Yup, that was correct.
I don't think this was though....

Lol @ "unresigned".
What an utter shambles.
Ignore me, you are correct.

Yay, we got there.

WOW.
At last, a little honesty.
