Well just wishing Newcastle united good luck for their first home game of the season. I am not really a Newcastle united fan but would be nice to see them win their first game.
Two Polish referees have been stood down from Tuesday’s Champions League match between Rangers and Dynamo Kyiv after they were reportedly arrested for drunkenly stealing a road sign.
Bartosz Frankowski and Tomasz Musial were selected to work as the VAR and assistant VAR for the qualifying match, which is taking place in the Polish city of Lublin on Tuesday night.
But their names no longer appear on the Uefa match list following reports in Poland that they were among three “intoxicated” men who had destroyed road infrastructure in the city.
“At around 1.40 a.m. we received a report of three men carrying a road sign down the street,” Senior Superintendent Kamil Gołębiowski, press officer of the Lublin City Police Headquarters, told TVP Sport.
“Police officers were dispatched to the scene. All of the men were intoxicated and had over 1.5 per mille of alcohol in their blood. They were taken to a sobering-up centre.”

Sheffield Wednesday fans sent stark warning over fake shirts.
Sheffield Wednesday supporters have been given a stark warning over the wearing of counterfeit shirts at Hillsborough this season.
Ahead of the big season kick-off at Plymouth Argyle on Sunday, Sheffield Wednesday have warned supporters that they could be ‘asked to leave’ Hillsborough if they are found to be wearing counterfeit shirts, with information ‘passed onto the relevant parties’.
The production of cheaper counterfeit shirts, mainly produced overseas, has become prevalent across football in recent years. Now, Wednesday fans have been warned that the club will take action if they are to attend home matches in what is proven to be a counterfeit model.
A statement released by the club read:
“Although we cannot prevent supporters from wearing counterfeit shirts away from Hillsborough, we do respectfully request that such products are not displayed inside the stadium. Anyone found to be wearing a fake shirt inside Hillsborough could be asked to leave, with information passed on to the relevant parties. Thank you for your cooperation.”

Ridiculous
Mind you this was the same owner who told supporters to fk off if they didn't agree with his running of the club and then told them to pay for any players the club signed because he wasn't putting anymore money in. Also told them to pay the clubs bills.
Maybe the fans should all turn up in counterfeit shirts and then refuse to leave when asked.

Can't do that any more as Starmer has outlawed any protest or dissent and you'll be in court and banged up before you can say 'George Orwell...'
