Former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho is already causing chaos in his first match as Fenerbahçe boss.
In typical Mourinho fashion, Fenerbahce didn't face a single shot on target throughout the contest, with their defensive display looking assured and succinct. Also in typical Mourinho fashion was the Portuguese legend's antics in his technical area.
Known for his passionate displays from the sideline, the 61-year-old took just 19 minutes to draw the attention away from the contest on the pitch. Within the opening 20 minutes, Mourinho was booked for arguing with the referee, with the cameras picking up him shouting at the officials in his Turkish Super Lig debut.
He can be seen arguing with the fourth official before turning away and continuing his tirade on the sideline, before the referee walks over to the touchline to show him a yellow card to which Mourinho simply stands there with his hands on his hips.
Jamie Vardy reminding Spurs fans how many Premier League titles each team have won
Favourite riposte from a Spurs fan from the game:-
When Vardy was holding up the 1 finger to us, we thought he was saying how many seasons Leicester City were going to be in the Premier League this time round
It really is hard to figure out what their grand plan is.
One surprising aspect - & there are many - is why ANY player would sign for them when they have around 40 (?) players & so many of them won't even get in the squad, let alone get to play every week.
Jaoe Felix is the latest signing (~£45 milly) who is a terrific player with a huge ego - how is he going to react when he finds out he only gets a handful of games each season - if he's lucky?
Meanwhile, Raheem Sterling is chuntering away in the stiffs. He's still getting full pay though, so really I guess he can't complain. If you or I get told by our boss that we won't need to work for the rest of the year but we'll still get paid in full I'm not sure we'd complain too much. Footballers are so entitled.
Reminded of the great comment from Wenger some years back.
There are some very expensive cars in the Reserve team car park.
Seriously, Chelsea are starting from about -£200 million over the next 5 or 6 years. Creative accounting is all very well, but at some stage you have to be able to say how many beans make 5...
Horrible club. But even more horribly managed by its money men....

Surely at some point in time the money people behind the scenes will tell the owner this is not working and we're just getting deeper and deeper in **** and there's gotta be a cut off time or is it one of those organisations where they're all too scared to speak against the almighty, we've seen that happen plenty of times before in other companies, where are their actual business brains but no doubt the lawyers have got everything covered. As the old saying goes, you don't become a billionaire without good lawyers.
So I heard to my abject horror that Man City and Chelsea could go both get relegated due to breaking some rules or something. I have no love for either of these clubs but that would mean the only way Southampton can get relegated is if they finish last before penalties and point deductions etc which just wont happen.
I mean I am aware there is a chance Southampton make europe this year but like I was holding onto hope that they may still get relegated That hope looks like it may be gone now I guess season is over.

👉➡️ Semi-automated offsides will be introduced but won't start until AFTER the international break in September, October or even November.
👉➡️ Only the captain can speak to the referee. Any other player will be automatically carded if they confront officials.
👉➡️ Referees will no longer automatically give a yellow card for non-deliberate handballs.
👉➡️ VAR officials will not get involved in subjective decisions: only CLEAR and OBVIOUS errors will be looked at.
👉➡️ Team news will now be released 75 minutes before kick-off.
👉➡️ No mid-season/Christmas break for the players.
👉➡️ Stoppage time will be shorter.
👉➡️ There is a new Premier League Match Centre social-media account that will communicate the facts regarding VAR decisions.
Though I bet after the weekend we'll still be talking about VAR decisions.
I wish she'd ha harass me
