Hand 4, i am snap folding this 99 anyway due to the person shoving (18and5time) and the bb's small ish stack.
I am very interested in JC's comments about not shoving with AJ because I am comfortable with this shove. maybe this is where i need to develop my game.
Hand 1. Im happy to fold the AQ preflop with the blinds at that level. I may instead flat his min raise. Im happy to have position on the OR with a fairly strong hand that could flop well. If ive had a few ciders im reshipping it like you tho lol.
Hand 2. I prob dont let it go to the flop tbh. I am squeezing it preflop jamming the lot! The stacks are nice for this imo. pick up the dead money. This may surprise you, but with my image i can get this through enough times to make it profitable i think. as played you gotta let it go on the flop.
How about this one? On the bubble...... Should I hang my head in shame at being a total nit? Or is this a standard fold? In most of these spots, I've been scratching my head thinking WTF!!!!
They're all alien to me, several times I've been going to snap a bet off and had to think twice.....
I'm seriously taking all advice on board, it's a pretty basic strategy to implement once you understand it, unlike cash (which is sooooooo player dependant and complicated) - I'm just trying to grasp it......
I wouldn't post em if I didn't need help.......
And I deffo wudn't post em if I cashed in every game
1st hand i like your play preflop and on the flop. The turn is where it get's tricky. I dont like the c/c on the turn! Its a lead out stack off, or a c/r all in. I think were way ahead on turn i want to get the money in innit.
2nd hand, no to jam the turn. You played it fine imo.
3rd hand, ugh! tricky spot once you see that flop, maybe better to check the K high flop tho rather than lead out. Once you lead out and get c/r i think its a fold tbh! But why not jam preflop?? The utg limper dont have to have a hand he can call with, they limp with all sorts of poo utg!
You can only really go all in or fold their. Not to nitty but then again they could be going crazy with AK, 10,10 ect. Usually you'll find a better spot than that though so not worth the risk. Saying that playing Kes earlier he did seem fairly aggressive.
Brilliant advice in this thread I must say, must read for anyone trying to become a more solid dym player.
dunno how people play so many of these they are so tedious, not to mention you have to win about 60% to just break even. good luck in your quest, im aiming for 24k-28k this month, usually i just coast to 20k. im on 2,300pp this month so far.
Here is one for you Dohhhhhh! I would love to know what you would do here.. and JC, and anyone? Its a 11 quid dym.. No reads on anyone. and early days.. Edit. i know Kes has to have something reasonably strong here. but i think he jams AA or KK. Best DYM hands = Small Cash wins, big cash losses.
Best time to play them though is the drunken hours. Folded my way to so many cashes you wouldn't belive it. Just had a total maniac knock out 3 adversaries with the powerhouses that were J3o, K2s and AA just when they weren't expecting it. I didn't play a hand. Very funny. Boring but.
Hand 1 - I don't like the limp utg tbh I would just fold. Limping is sometimes OK level 3 but I would prefer to be at least 2nd, preferably 3rd limper. The call of the min raise is fine obv. After that it's a big plus one to what Greg said. Think you played the flop perfect. The turn is the gin card for you, time to get it in vs his wheel (but it has to be now due to the 3rd diamond). So yeah, lead/stack off or c/r all-in, whichever you think has the most chance of getting it in at that point.
Hand 2 - I think you've played this well. The only thing I would do different is bet a bit less on the turn but that's just a personal thing.
Hand 3 - This one looks very tricky. I would like to keep the pot small here and c/c it down or something like that. But with a stack of 1700 and 600 in the pot already, that's just not going to be possible. Personally, I think I would have checked to look for weakness and raised all-in if I saw it. If I saw a pot size bet or other action I would begrudgingly lay it down. Looking at it though, the way you've played it is also very effective as you've found out (really) you're behind so I think you should lay it down to the c/r all-in, like you said you can't beat anything really. The reason I don't lead that flop, though, is that it figures to have hit both the original limper, then the sb, before it has hit you.
I think you need to lay these down. You've still got the OR and the 3-bettor to act behind you. I don't know kes that well but cold-calling big 3 bets in the early levels is so often AK in my experience (a play I don't understand in itself). Re him having AA/KK I definately think anyone would ship KK here and with the AA you're most probably right as well but I would just add the following: With the fact that the 3 bet is large, the fact that he seems to have lost a few chips early, and the fact that he has the button, I think he may flat call here to gamble on/ensure a full double up (+ the change).
Overall, though, definately fold. It's good that this hand came in level 2 for you, I always find it easier to lay down huge hands at these stages.
Comments
Hand 1- snap folding the 66.
Hand 2- I like your reshove with AQ vs this villain, way ahead of his range.
Hand 3- not so keen on this one as A9 is in danger of being out kicked. But again you have a solid read so why not

you want the other stacks (all similar) to clash
River is a snap fold obv.
What do u make of my play up to the turn, and shud I raise the turn?
I probably hero call the river in cash expecting him to have turned a black Ace into a bluff, then call myself a d*k ed n down a tin....
Jam the turn?????
The ONLY hand she can c/r me with on this flop that beats me is the one she has, maybe KJ/K8, but fml
8pm hands.

feel free to rip my play apart. i know its prob a silly move on the bubble, but i dug deep and released the inner dohhhhhh.
I showed my 3 high bluff due to the chat from player X. he was a serial limper and a bit of a pain tbh.
