How long are your sessions? Do you have breaks within longer sessions or a series of shorter sessions with longer breaks?

a typical day would see me play from just before 11am thru to just after 2pm with maybe 5 mins or so halfway thru. then from about 5:30 thru to midnight, this session i usually find a half hour break somewhere but the time varies, anytime from 7 to 9:30 for a short break. another short break once happy hour finishes then i have another hour or so. this isnt set in stone, if things are going badly i will shut down the tables and take 20 mins or so because i can do more damge than good trying to stick to certain times

i think the longest ive played with only a toilet stop or going to get a drink is about 6 hours

ive always been a nightowl so find it hard dozing off at nights, this has been the case long before i started playing poker. even when i was working and starting at 6am i was still awake gone midnight

Sounds like i know where im going wrong in regards to this. I used to grind throughout the night which i prefered on another site but i tried this on sky and between maintenece upgrades and low traffic during the night i found it a nightmare unless you where willing to play multiple levels.

yeah early hours can be a nightmare and the maintenence outages werent ideal. i found the games started to realy drop off around 1:30am-2am most nights, i guess this is why i adjusted what hours i tend to play. even a lunchtime session has more choice when you can be looking at around 15 tables running

wow something really doesnt add up there. was you constantly at the same tables or were you moving arund a lot? 6 points over 3 tables equates to an hours play assuming you stick to the same table for that lenght of time.

Good luck with this, it's about time this silly 'unbeatable' myth was slain in back and white for all to see.

I just 4 tabled, for just under 2 hours (a long session by my standard) i changed one table early in the session and i made 14 poker points.

i think i remember the hand in question. tbh i shouldnt have hit the call button from the sb. it was one of those where you go wtf did i do that for milliseconds after the event.

i had to take my son to the dentist or there was a good chance i would have stuck around. i may even have ended up spewing what i had built up lol

To be honest TinTin I find players hitting a set is  the hardest thing to putting an opponent on.
I agree with your read, that their raise suggested some sort of ace or maybe KQ. ( most players tend to flat call with small pockets like 22 or 44). At the end of the day I don't think you are ever going to get off that hand. Just one of those where you will do all your stack.

You where BB i think i was BTN. I flopped the world tho, had you on a range of small PPs and suited cons (i think this is fair v my BTN range and how ull percieve how im playing) had to check two streets in hope you caught up, knowing that youd probably need to hit perfect perfect to beat me.

Erm, quick question, How important do you think reads are at NL4?
