i- NEWMARKET 3-35 - ELYSIAN FLAME - 20-1 - This race has been a Willie Mullins benefit in recent times but hoping this horse can deny him this year. In big race at Royal Ascot he was running on third after being well backed and getting bumped as he made his run. Also good at start and end of season, hopefully will win at big odds. 5th Had troubled passage and ran on like a train to nearly nab 3rd, winner and second had gone. Needed further. LATE on parade today and gone a little left field leaving ASCOT out of the ratings.
iiii- FFOS LAS 2.50 - UNO MAS 4/1- Trainer had a good start to the jumps and this one has ran well winning twice and then finding one to good over a longer trip than today when he came too late. Should be ridden more up with pace today. WINNER , ridden to perfection by his young conditional and race went just how I thought it would and pulled clear to win by about 15 lengths
iii - CATTERICK 4.15- CAPTAIN JAMESON - 11/1- Has good draw and likes the course and easier finish will suit him better than Pontefract on his return after a break. LOST, ground meant draw ineffective
ii- CATTERICK 3.40 - MILITIA - 6/1- An old favourite so probably comes with a health warning but likes this track and ran well after breaking bad at Chester, a pace you dont want to do that. 4th Got out well and Up there for most of race tired near end just lost 3rd
i- WOLVERHAMPTON 5.00 - LIAMS LASS - 8/1 - Course and distance winner off this weight last year and had good spin in third at Beverley last time. LOST raced wide never got into it
