Not a great lover of this weeks races , lot of little tight races.
iiii- WARWICK 2.25 - PARTY BUSINESS 3-1 - Bang there in the Challow when falling at last, wouldnt have beaten impressive winner but would have beaten Lossiemouth easily and shows he likes this distance when others might not. LOST never really enjoying it and tried to run on but not good enough.
iii - WARWICK 1.18- BRAVE SEASCA 11/8 - Very impressive last time and gets loads of weight from Sky Pirate who hasnt been in same form as last season. WINNER a very good horse who is going places and easy win . Jockey just had to show him whip to outrun Sky Pirate.
ii- KEMPTON 3.15- KITTYS LIGHT 9/2- Really deserves to get her head in front. LOST always in rear Danger- STRICTLY A DANCER 15/2 4th
I- KEMPTON 2.40 - ON MY COMMAND 12/1 - Has won two races easily and looks a mare on the upgrade and gets in here off bottom weight. LOST went out like a light. DANGER- GREEN BOOK 11/2 BROUGHT DOWN

iiii- HAYDOCK -3.10 - FOILLAN 11/2 - Dr Newland can handle handicappers and this one won nicely last time and he ans the second drew well clear. Up 10lb and hoping he still ahead of handicapper. LOST not ahead of handicapper obviously
iii- HAYDOCK - 2.35- ROYAL PAGAILLE - 5/2- Won this race by 16 lengths last year, ran in Gold cup and 2nd to A PLUS TARD since on ground not to his liking. Trainer is red hot form and back in true grade and on track he likes should win. WINNER , what a battler and Charlie Deutsch one of the best chase jockeys around at mo. DANGER - LORD DU MESNIL 10-1 -Another who loves track. LOST
ii- ASCOT 2.55 = FANION D'ESTRUVAL 4-1- Another Venetia horse who won last time and whilst he has gone up 8lb, Good 7lb claimer takes most of that off. 2ND well ridden but winner was just too good with weight advantage. DANGER- KILLER CLOWN 13/2 LOST
I- TAUNTON 3.53 - WILLIAM EWART 16-1 - A real dark horse and hoping Christian Williams has worked the handicap mark well. Not bad bumper form before put in against Nicholls hotpot over 2m3f and never put into race and ran on from back into 7th. Then in two 2m hurdles when ridden up with pace and didnt get home. Handicap debut back over 2m 3f today and only runner for trainer and stable jockey other than 100-1 outsider. LOST didnt jump very well at all at start and that summed up the race really, never in it.

Found out at Cheltenham last time but didnt really take to course or ground, back on a flat track he should get back into winners enclosure. 3rd, led most of the way but overtaken by the two future chasers late on. Race usually won by a chasing type.
iii- DONCASTER - 3.55- HAAS BOY 15/2- Went into my notebook after 2nd last time and winner has gone in again. Hoping he takes the step up. 4th another who looked good until late on
ii- CHELTENHAM - 1.55- FARINET 6/1- Although up 6lb for his last impressive win Lucy Turner takes 7lb off and she gave Fanion a good ride last week . Hope she goes one better. NR
i- CHELTENHAM - 12-15 - GEROMINO 16-1 - A bit of a wild card but the only horse to have pushed Champion Hurdle prospect Tommys Oscar this season. Worry is that after his last run he has had another breathing op. However that run was also over a lot further and he made a lot of the running. Hoping return in trip and wind op has sorted him. LOST ran well for a long way but again went out like a light. Wind op might not have helped, give him one last chance. DANGER - KIYAVAH 8-1 LOST

12.08 -LADY CHALA 33-1 LOST for four furlongs look like a world beater, for rest looked like a carthorse.
iiii- SANDOWN 4.05- WHYDAH GALLY - 7/2- Young hurdler getting better and after looking beaten last time rallied again and won by six lengths. Uphill finish will suit . LOST fell at last when challenging for lead although looked like other would win !!!!!!!
iii - MUSSELBURGH 3.45- HIGHLAND HUNTER - 5/2- Ran a great race in the Welsh Grand National beaten by a very well handicapped improver. Should win this. LOST very brave but weight got him and finished out on his feet
ii- SANDOWN 1.15 - FRERO BANBOU - 7/2 -Cant seem to get away from Venetia horses at mo . Well clear with second last time and recent rain will have helped. 2ND came like a train but couldnt get to DOLOS well handicapped.
i- LINGFIELD 4.00 - SOLDIERS MINUTE - 12/1- Hate grayhound racing but cant seem to get away from this so included . Fast closing third last time against Good Effort after bump leaving stalls and then finishing third after very tricky run last time. Now better terms than with two who beat him that day and with more luck in running could be a nice price winner. 4th ran well but got caught near the end.

LOST travelled well then found nothing DANGER-FIRST STREET-14/1- Other Henderson horse and Bowen been rising most of his hurdle winners lately. 3RD came late but too late
iii - NEWBURY - 3.00 - FUNAMBULE SIVOLA - 11-4- Venetia williams in cracking form at mo and this won well off top weight last time. Others not in same form and Nicholls horses on a poor run. WINNER WOW how easy was that , got in close to a couple but Charlie hardlyhad to move a muscle in home straight.
ii- NEWBURY - 1-50 - RISK AND ROLL - 7-1 - Could be underestimated due to trainer and jockey but very impressive last time. 3RD 15/2 travelled well, hit a flat spot coming into straight, ran on again. DANGER - COEUR DE LION 13/2 2nd 15/2 went early but pulled back.
I- NEWBURY - 4.45 - LIBBERTY HUNTER -11-1 - Another wildcard and not a great lover of NH flat races. However this horse won nicely and placed horses have all won since. LOST led most of the way and out like a light. DANGER = ROSY REDRUM -3/1 - Trainer going well and gets weight from older horses. 2nd came from way back.

iii - HAYDOCK 2.40- THE GALLOPING BEAR - 13/2 - Already backed in from 12-1 for a small trainer and also will love the distance and the ground after winning last time. WINNER brillant display and this horse continues to improve for small trainer who certainly knows how to train and well done the Jockey. DANGER- BLACKLION 6-1 LOST and LORD DU MESNIL 14-1 LOST
II- ASCOT 1.50 - DOYEN BREED -11/2- Almost double the price of the favourite but got closer to Threeunderthrufive than he did last time and gets weight and makes journey from Scotland. 2nd Jumped poorly all the first circuit which meant he didnt have much left at end. Opposite to winner and that was the difference.
i- ASCOT 2.25- FIDDLERONTHEROOF - 3/1- Well clear of 3rd in competitive Ladbroke Trophy when only Cloudy Glen was too good for him. Has won better class races than this. 2ND looked like jockey had timed it well but Fortescue came late to get him DANGER- ASK ME EARLY 4-1 if he reroutes from Wincanton NR
