Cheers.  It was wishful thinking it would be midday and then people who live in London could get a tube home, rather than a cab.  Non of the other multi day tournaments at Aspers time it so you can get a cab home, thought maybe Sky would be different though and think of this, being the thoughtful community they are  ;)

Understood, but the vast majority of players will be froma cross the country and staying over

In addition, there is a dealer issue starting at midday. Many will be working the friday night comp til very late and the casino is reluctant to tjurn them round onto a new shift at midday.

But surely if you want people to attend and stay over, its best you announce the dates as early as possible (Newcaslte and Nottingham) so people can book early to get the best possible hotel deals..

Common sense needs to applied at times to give all the Sky Poker attendees the best possible chance.

Just had a look at this and didnt realise there was no Scottish leg dont understand the problem with finding a venue in Scotland. When I was on TSP I spoke to the manager at the genting (formally circus casino)and they said they would love to host one and forwarded the email address of the manager to the powers that be in sky.
The casino is in the middle of Edinburgh and hosts a leg of the genting tour so numbers not a problem I know someone previously stated there was a problem with disabled access but this is definately NOT the case.
Plenty parking (free) lots of hotels, no problem sourcing dealers ,good side tourney on fri or sat loads of cash tables etc etc etc
