Sky im sure you have your reasons but i/we could really do with those dates. Im ex-army and after two tours of Afghan im well aware that the bigger the plan the more likely it is to hit roadbumps and delays. No plan survices first contact and all that. This is most definately not a needle or a whinge. Ive been watching this thread since it started without commenting as i didnt see the point. Frustration must have won out though.
Im a simple bloke who loves to play low-medium stakes poker on multiple websites. I do however love the community aspect of Sky and having attended the last SPT in Luton and really enjoying it (Even after having my pocket rockets cracked 3 times) i was really looking forward to the next one. I would infact say that the reason i play Sky over other websites is the outstanding community aspect. I beleive the SPT's to be an embodiment of this.
However, some of us really need time to save money and organize transport/accomodation. Trains/hotels/sides etc make an SPT anything but a cheap event to attend. Earlier we can book stuff the cheaper it is :)
Smash some heads together and get us some dates please :)
    Thanks in advance!

i might be a bit thick
but why pick venues without booking them.

Its February! No dates for SPT, No dates for Viva Las Vegas, couldn't Sky just organise some satellites for both of them with the proviso dates to be confirmed?
Otherwise its going to be a mad rush to get seats filled, and tournaments aren't going to make their guarantees!
The thread went up in September saying dates to be announced end of year I didn't realise they were talking end of 2013!

the venues and dates were all booked and confirmed by last October. Hence the first post on this thread

Due to other things going on, they had to be put on hold

A new set of dates is now with Sky to confirm

Yeah hopefully a bigger buy in around the £500 mark and make it a 3 or 4 day tourney like other tours ftw
