In Response to Re: Get in the Hole! 2015 Season! (Sony Open + Abu Dhabi) : I can only presume Neil has not seen this, or I can assure you he would have been straight in to have another dig at me and to tell you that the fact that I've given up on Grace is a good thing. I've not given up on him as such, I reluctantly passed over him, in search of better ew value elsewhere, which is the very thing I set out not to do this year (ignore the obvious chances of those you fancy irrespective of their price). I should have backed Olesen and Grace, I fancy them both, but swerved them for bigger priced players. Actually Flash I like all your picks this week, hope your confidence is rewarded (a little bit). Yep correct mate. Been busy working to fund my poker and golf bets. In fact too busy working to back my golf fancies, and lost out because of it. Have had to take 45/1 on Coatzee thanks to the Racing Post tipping him up, and I've had to take 35/1 (was 40's) on Weisberger. And looking at Levy 33/1. All ew... Good luck everyone.
PS.... Just in case anyone did/does wonder, everything I say on here is tongue in cheek. I've the greatest respect for everyone who contributes to this thread.
Edit:- I've decided to 'dump' Levy, and back Olesen instead ew @ 28/1. Because though I take the'mick' out of Darty on occasions, I do value his knowledge and research, and course form here is important as he says. Levy's making his debut, and being an early start, won't have practised much. Olsen's desert form, and here in particular, makes him a very able substitute.
Stephen Gallacher 30/1 (without rose, stenson and garcia)
Seems to play well in this neck of the woods with 2 wins in the region in last two years. His finish last year here was spoilt by an ugly 75 in r3 otherwise could have been in the mix.
Weisberger 30/1 (without rose, stenson and garcia) always pretty consistent and when you remove the three big names in the field 30/1 seems like a pretty solid price to me.
Gallacher and Noren also in with small FRL bets.
Humana
Billy Horschel 40/1
Was between haas and horschel for this pick and went for horschel - already kind of regretting it despite the bigger price.
Zach Johnson 28/1
Some decent finishes recently and decent record. Just got a feeling he's gonna go close again in coming weeks.
FRL fun one
Casey, Bohn, Haas, Bradley, Jones and Simpson all in ew trebles.

I'd just like to add to this and say if anyone has been under the impression I might be the victim of cyber bullying, I can assure everyone I hardly ever take notice of anything Neil says
Seriously I've always thought this is a good thread, with some entertaining comments and contributions.
As for the first days golf, a truly awful start for me to wake up to.
I reluctantly drop my desert king Rafa Cabrera-Bello and wake up to see him at the top of the leaderboard.
In contrast one of my new guys for the week, Steve Webster is sharing last place.
At least I have Thomas Aitken on -5 with two to play, but he then plays an awful shot on 17 and makes bogey, he pars the last, but the Europeantour website amends his scorecard and drops him down to -3.
Oh well I think, at least Romain Wattel has got off to a nice start, 1 under after 3; correction he's just double bogyed the 4th.
Let's hope Matthew Baldwin starts with a birdie on the easy par 5 10th, I mean a par is virtually a shot dropped on the field............no need to worry about a par, he opens with a **** bogey!
Took somones advice on here about Cabrello and took up Betfred off er of placing £10 in play at 1/2 or better and if it loses you get a free bet of £10 on the Phoenix Open nxt week - Value _ GL everyone
Well my first ew win of the season secured.....shame it was a 9 way tie for 3rd lol ah well at least i got my money on my frl bets back a little profit.
Hope Noren crumbles now because he's a player I like and fancy him for some of the run of the mill euro tour events and hoping he keeps his value.
Gallacher and Weisberger reasonably well placed after day 1.
Had 2 bets on the other tourney as well - Had £5 on Matt Kuchar at 20/1 - (money back for 2nd or 3rd) . With 40% of so many of his last tournamnets finishing in the top ten this has to be considered and after another good week last week i personally think he,s going to convert some of these EW placxes into wins and could win quite a bit this season. He,s proved he can contend time and time again and can,t be ruled out in the near future for any tournaments
Just had £3 on Kriss Kirk as well at 31/1. Think he,s dues 4 consistntly good rounds rather than just 1 or 2 every tourney

Not looking to shabby at the halfway stage, very well done so far.

Congrats on your first win of the season, I think Noren was a smart pick.
I'd thought the same about keeping an eye on him for future events, he was a quality player pre-injury and looks to be back fully fit at long last.
Great day for Weisberger, though after just checking his scorecard I'm not sure what Gallacher is playing at today.

Firstly nope, u can't cash out when it's an ew bet, only when it's win only. (Well that's the case with Paddy Power anyway). Secondly, yep good start, but let's see where we are when those cheques are dished out on Sunday afternoon. Lastly, he's too modest to mention it, but I know The Dartster is also on Coatzee @ 50/1. He didn't want to bok him/me/others when he knew myself and others were on him too. But it gets better for him, Jerome backed him for end of round 2 leader ew @ 25/1. So he's already bagged an 8/1 winner.
Right I've joined in with JD and had couple of fun FRL ew trebles (and singles and doubles).
FUN FRL Number One
Graham DeLaet - 20/1, seems right to give him his first SkyPoker Forum mention of 2015, seeing as its his birthday today! Russell Knox - 25/1 Ryo Ishikawa - 28/1
FUN FRL Number Two
Paul Casey - 28/1 Matt Jones - 25/1 Brendon De Jonge - 20/1
In Response to Re: Get in the Hole! 2015 Season! (Humana Challenge + Qatar Masters) : To be fair it took me a couple of days to make sense of JD's ew trebles on FRL's. Then it clicked earlier today...... They split up to play 3 different courses on days 1,2 and 3. Posted by TheDart
Argh of course!!! I nearly jumped in with both size 11's saying "no no no"

In Response to Re: Get in the Hole! 2015 Season! (Humana Challenge + Qatar Masters) : Well at least Grace has "come" first Vwp Mr flush!! Posted by jdsallstar
He was always going to beat me once I'd put that post up. Nice one Charles

You see Flash, Grace was nailed on to win this week, well done.
The fact that you questioned my apparent desertion of Grace and my confession that I did fancy him but had swerved him for the above reasons, did grate away at me, so I did go back and a have a smallish wager on him as a saver.
So thanks for reducing the agonizing stomach churning pains I would be having right now, though I'm still kicking myself for not having a proper bet on him like I did last week.

Ha ha! Glad to hear it!
Now after 2 amazing rounds last night from Hoffman and Palmer, is the double on? GOGOGOGO!
