Starting off with a moan this week. Tired of having two horses which I have been following being put in the same race but tomorrow takes the biscuit. Have been waiting for WILLIAM H BONNEY to frank ELGIN'S form again and also FIDUX very unlucky to be brought down at the last when looking like a winner. Both trained by Alan King so unlikely to be in same race. WRONG got to back both now.

iiii- 1.30 AINTREE - THE LAST SAMURI - 8-1 -Loves this course and a good pipe opener over hurdles to get him right for this. 2ND Unfortunately Blaklion also ran well

ii- 12.05 SANDOWN - WHATSWRONGWITHYOU - 4-1 - Nicky Henderson loves to win this race and should be wound up for a good run LOST
i - 3.30 SANDOWN - SUGAR BARON -5-1 - 2nd to very good winner What a Moment last time in Amatuer race at Cheltenham. Nico on board today to hopefully get a win. 2nd JUST TOO LATE TO GET UP

iiii - CHELTENHAM 12.45 - JAMESTON 7-2 - Last time slow run race didnt help his jumping style and he belted fifth last really hard and had the stuffing knocked ot of him still ran on well for second. hope jockey sets him alight today and he gets his just rewards. LAST Well making the running suited him better until the second last and then off he tried to go around again. Wonder if he needs a right handed circuit
iii - CHELTANHAM 2.30 - COUNT MIRABEL -2-1 -Classy hurdler who has won ;last three races comfortably and hope 4 timer on cards. 2ND All over winner but didnt get 3 miles. drop back in trip needed
ii- DONCASTER 3.20 - SEGO SUCCESS 5-1- Won this race two years ago and now 3lbs lower, hoping for a repeat. LOST
i- CHELTENHAM 3.40 - LAMANVER ODYSSEY -13-2 - Won well last time and hope still ahead of handicapper. LOST
OTHER FANCIES CHELTENHAM 1.20 SIRE DE GRUGY 9-1 -Might not be as good as old but down in grade and value LOST Surely retirement follows now been a great servant but nowhere like he was 1.55 FOXTAIL HILL 12-1 - Ground will be more to his liking tomoz unless ground sweats a lot under covers LOST and poor old Starchitect. Wonder if false ground he slipped on was pool of water going into one place as they took covers off. 3.05 THE NEW ONE 9-4
DONCASTER 1.40 FLYING TIGER 5-2 - Two good thirds in high class fields and nothing like as difficult today. LOST cant beat a good improving filly and Irish Roe is one
HEREFORD 12.55 THE HOLLOW GINGE 9-2 -silly bet with Splash of ginge in a double 3RD
Time to stop the bad run and if my ratings dont win I am hoping my Henderson savers will help.
iiii - ASCOT 3.00 - WALK IN THE MILL 10-1 - Trainer in good form for a smallish stable and this was impressive winner last time. 3RD Ran a terrific race but a double for Robert Walford just couldnt come
iii- HAYDOCK 2.45 - FULL IRISH - 100-30 - Another trainer inform and although up 8lb I hope he is still ahead of handicapper and trip will suit and Davy russell on board. LOST Running all over them until 2 out and made terrible mistake.
ii- ASCOT 12.40 - EDDY - 10-1 - Second to THOMAS PATRICK who just failed to frank the form last time but still hopeful for this horse. LOST Out to 28-1 and hopeful three hurdles out as seemed to have got into 2nd comfortably. However horse and jockey ran out of puff quickly.
i- ASCOT 2.25 - SAM SPINNER 8-1 Wont have the bottomless ground that he had last time but going over slightly further and should run these a merry dance. Youngster on the upgrade . WINNER what a horse and if he keeps fit will go to the top and built like a chaser already so if he takes to fences he could become a superstar. ONE TO FOLLOW
