BR NL4: £322 (+£17.50) +5.5 today... strange day... lost 4 with OESFD v top pair, then grind it up to about 6.50+ then play poorly andd run into flush over flush and set v flush and lose a quid overall... bit up and down so quite disappointed with todays performance.
Goals: b up 1 buyin a day, sustainable? prob not....reach .10/.20 by end of the month
Plan: roll up 20-25 BI for 0.05/0.1, then start taking shots at .10/.20, then repeat, drop down a stake if i go beneath 20 BI's...hopefully i wont hit a wall by the time i reach .20/.40 again....lol 4th time im doing this, and i always hit that wall :-(
2BI Session this lunchtime, ran pretty good after breaking even last night where i made some horrible calls to some overbet shoves. BR NL4: £60.99 (+£8) Posted by Deadluck

Don't worry about it Blackfish. You cant run hot all the time. Keep grinding and better luck today. Let us know how you've done at the end of the day. Maybe £350!!!!
Theres absolutely no need for 20 buy ins at NL20 surely?? 400 quid and only risking 20 of it? (that means u have to make 20 HUGE mistakes, or suffer 20 sik outdraws/cold decks, in a row, without being on the right end of a single 1....)
This isnt having a go at thread btw, its a gud idea, and actually interesting reading up on how people are doing, Especially with this total player bootcamp, bankroll challenge coming up, its an issue in the spotlight atm, but even in this challenge, players are given 500 and asked to play 3 hours of at least NL50, thats 10 buy ins, thats alot more like it.
The games at NL10 and NL20 arent a much different in genral, there are a few better players who everyone knows, hence they r easy to avoid with basic table selection. The buy in is the same anyway innit?
DOHHH - Yes it's extremely hard to go broke when you only risk 5% of your bankroll, thats why the strategy is so effective. You aren't playing with scared money as it's not devastating when you lose a buyin.
This method also means when/if you lose 10buyins you can drop down a level and be rolled for 20 buyins of the previous level.
BR 316... about -£3 today... donked at 4NL cash tables all day, played bad ran bad then donked on 2 £3.30 dyms, £20 down... went back to where i know i can win after a break (3.30 dym), won 7/8... played good ran good, so ended the day only 3 quid down. i need to play good all the time... more consistency.
stake - £2/£3 dym's br - £105 profit - £80.40 av. roi - 16% (being new to the game what would you say is a good roi??) won last 7 out of 8 dyms. br down a bit due to some sports betting at weekend!!! think i will just stick to gambling with poker!! Posted by donkeyplop
With £2/£3 DYM's your ROI should be more than 12.5% just to cover the rake so 16% is fine (means you're manking a 3.5% profit overall). You should probably be aiming for a ROI of 25-30% to show a decent return but this will come with time so don't get too hung up on it.
And don't go down to the £1 DYMs or lower! The rake on these is extortionate. If you find the need to go down a level, try the heads up games, only 5% rake.

Nope, think they're out looking for you on the tables...lol
