Ha I knew my bounty count was abysmal and tried to rectify it over the weekend, but some poor play by me and 'optimistic' play from others put paid to that, wp SAFC ;-)

Thanks for the congrats marky and HENDRIK that was a tight call this week,Battling for top spot makes this league so much fun, Its a nice bonus to win but if i lose its still been fun trying.
I wish i could use the token on a £33 PL08 bounty on a Sunday as marky suggested but since it looks like it's not going to happen can i have the Wednesday main please.

Will make the request for you mate, good luck!

Obviously I completely agree regarding a Sunday £33 PLO8 BH.

Even if it was just £500 GTD... It would only need 16 runners to be profitable to Sky (surely we would manage that very easily?) And it would allow prizes from here to be directed at it.

    Cough @Sky__James nudge, wink.

You know it makes sense o:)

Or I can get working on PowerPoint for the next SPT meeting :D

    Mark,

Pretty sure it is Sky_James, not Sky__James. (Single underscore, not double)

So I'll do the strudel or "at" thing for you, like so.....

    @Sky_James

Can't promise he'll see it though.

    Worth a try :p

By the bye, what is the correct term for the "at sign"?

    You know, this thing;

I call it a strudel, though I'm not entirely sure why.

How was work today? Still loving it?

    From the interwebs...

"Officially, this symbol is called commercial at. Unofficially, most people seem to refer to it as the at sign or just at. Recently, there has also been a movement to call it the atmark. There are also numerous nicknames for it, including snail, curl, strudel, whorl, and whirlpool".

    Strudel was in there!

Work - Yeah, still loving it. It is all very surreal. Something I had in mind to work at for so long, it has not quite sunk in that I am actually doing it! I was one of the students just a few months ago...

Hope everything is going well with you and hopefully get to catch up with you at the next SPT (I will bring the norwegianish translation phrasebook) :p

    Oops, my bad Phil :p

Will sort my mistake on the next update.

Will also buy you a half pint shandy at the next SPT to make up for it! Can't say fairer than that :)

Also apologies to all for not updating the monthly leaderboard yet this month. Things have just got away from me this month with starting the new job etc. I will update this during the next couple of days. I would also offer to buy you all a half pint shandy to make up for this but I am far too tight to do something silly like that!

Top 10 in the monthly league as of November 29th

Quite happy with my showing considering # of games played but safc71 looks to have it in the bag!

Doubt I will be playing again this month so it is down to the others to try and pull off a miracle and stop safc.

I make safc roughly 1/100000 to be the November winner.

Some very positive breaking news: This Sunday there will be a £33 buy in £500 GTD PLO8 Bounty Hunter at 9:15pm.

Whether this is more than a one off will obviously depend on how well the game does.

Many thanks to Tikay for helping make this happen! A big thank you to everyone who has supported the idea and to James for giving it a try!

Weekly league points will also be granted for this tourney in line with the scoring system for the other games.

Weekly prizes will be directed at the Sunday £33 for as long as there is a Sunday £33 to direct them at.

Apologies if my writing is worse than usual (on my phone).

Now to try and clear my schedule for Sunday night.

Well done marky the threat of that PowerPoint presentation worked and cheers to Sky for giving it a chance.

Cheers safc and good luck in the main tonight mate.

Thanks to Tikay for sorting that. I had a large to-do list for today and was falling behind. I hadn't got around to requesting it yet, but he had already sorted it all!
