Have been eating exactly as I should, & have walked 27 miles. (3 x 1 mile walks every day for 9 days).
Obv, with being so overweight for my height, the first stone should fall off quickly, so I'm not complacent, but even so, I'm pleased with a solid start.
This week of course will be far less. If I can shed 2 lbs this week I'll be more than happy.
Be nice to get down to 13-7 by SPT Manchester. If I fail it won't be for lack of effort.
Plan to increase the daily walking mileage this week.
Prof, the food looks excellent, especially the cauliflower.
Well done all on the progress so far.
Drop this week was a bit like Tikay's last week, getting properly into it. Hopefully can sustain it now at a steady and consistent pace.
I've had no takeaway / restaurant food in the last week, can't remember the last time that was the case.
Goals for remainder of January:
- Walk / Run 70k Steps a week (to increase in Feb) - No more than 1 takeaway / restaurant meal over a 2 week period - Dry January - No crisps / chocolate - 3 x gym visits per week - 5 veg/ fruit portions per day (to increase in Feb)

Well done all especially @LARSON7 with a great effort for the week.
I've still been disciplined as far as the exercise is concerned and have been on my bike every night bar one this week. However the diet has been the difficult part this week and the temptation to eat a snack most evenings is very strong. I mostly grab a piece of fruit but I did buckle once and have a packet of crisps.
Managed to shift another 2 pounds though so happy enough with that.
Start: 19st Last Week: 18st 11lbs Current: 18st 9lbs Total loss: 5lbs
After such a good first week, that was a bit disappointing, but over the 2 weeks it's a good start.
Have eaten well this week (as in no bad food) & upped the walking from 3 miles per day (3 x 1 mile walks) to 4 miles per day (2 x 1 mile + 1 x 2 mile).
Am in the 13's now - just - so the long trek to the 12's starts now.
New burrito burgers are being developed for events in 2020! Made with black beans and brown rice spiced with chipotle and cumin, they are filling and nutritious.
For a spicy twist we are also experimenting with raw vegan taco ‘meat’ made with walnuts, sun-dried tomato and chipotle. Packed with protein and delicious with a squeeze of lime.
