Was hoping for a little more loss this week, it's normal to lose more at the start of the process, & I really upped the daily exercise whilst eating properly.

Not too bad though, & the short-term target of 13st 7lbs by the time of SPT Manchester remains live.

It's a chuffing sight easier to put weight on than get it off, that's for sure.

    On we go.

Slow progress this week, only losing 1lb but it's better than nothing I suppose. I'm on a course next week and staying in a hotel for 3 nights so it will be difficult to stick to the diet. I don't have enough will power to turn down 3 course meals when they are free.

    Start Weight: 19st
    Last Week: 18st 9lbs
    Current: 18st 8lbs
    Total loss: 6lbs

    @LARSON7

Is that a 3lb loss in a week? If so, incred, well done.

Had the perfect diet & exercise week, ate the right amounts of the correct things, & walked 4 miles every day, so to only lose 2lb was a bit of a blow to be honest, I'd expect more from the early stages of a diet, especially as I was so overweight to begin with.

On a brighter note, I'm 1st 4lbs less than I was on 1st January, which I sort of picture in my mind as 9 x 2lb bags of sugar. Imagine carrying 9 bags of sugar around every day, & walking 4 miles with them daily. So walking must be a lot easier now.

Gill is coming down tonight until Tuesday, so I wont be losing any weight this week, then next Friday I'm off up to Manchester for 4 days, which means cooked breakfasts & late night burger & chips, so zero weight loss expected for a few weeks now.

    Anyway, on we go.

    Well done @LARSON7 and @Tikay10

I was dreading today's weigh in as I knew it was going to be a tough week. I have been working away and staying in a hotel with a workmate. This meant a) No exercise b) A cooked meal for lunch, a 3 course meal for dinner and complimentary snacks in the room c) I broke dry January with 8 pints. It's takes stronger will power than I possess to stay on the diet in those situations. This lead to a 2lb gain.

Back on the grind now though.

    This Week: 18st 10lbs

Not great, but Gill came down for a long weekend, so we had 2 roast dinners and an Afternoon Tea up the West End. That was always the plan, she rives 3 hours to get to my place, so I'm deffo not going to say we can't eat well & enjoy the rare time we spend together.

So just 2 days "proper" dieting, & a reduced walking schedule too.

So all things considered, it's acceptable.

Am away for 4 days this week, up at Manchester, so it's cooked brekkie in the hotel each day, & a greasy burger at 2am each morning, when I can't really get any proper food. So a weight rise is likely this week, but it's ok, the trend is going the right way, if not as fast as I would like.

13 stone seems a very long way away, 12 stone impossible, but it's a long road.

    Hmmm

I need to rethink my diet approach

January- no booze, healthy food exercise = lose 1lb

Spt Manchester - booze, no sleep, fried chicken buckets! No exercise= Lose 1lb
