I'm on the final table of one of our tournaments right now and I can't get it to load. Just wathcing my chips disappear in the lobby. It's the most frustrating thing in the world.
Edit: Was 3rd, now I'm 6th.
Edit 2: Someone got knocked out, just laddered to 5th!
That's week 2 over the line. And what a way to end the week.
According to Sir. @Tikay10, most people weren't affected by last night's issues—issues which seemingly reared their head on at least 3 nights this week—but I certainly was, and I know others from the league were too. I think I reloaded my tables 5 or more times between 9pm and 10pm! But sh*t happens, as the kids say.
As far as the league goes, it was the quietest night of the week with only 94 entries but we still managed to pull 405 points out of it. let's see where they went.
@engy and I got the night off to a cracking start with an FT. Life seemed so simple in this tournament, where we got to just play it out without any technical issues. Ah, those were good times.
Last night's technical issues reared their head right as I went to the final table in this tournament. As mentioned above in this thread, I went into it in third feeling like I just might win it and then I couldn't access my table. I spent the closing levels of it watching my chips disappear in the lobby. But my sincere gratitude to the player who busted themselves with two players at the table AFK. Well played, sir, and I will take that free ladder.
£1,500 Bounty Hunter 11. engy (15 points)
@engy again. I saw this guy and @cenachav all over the place and fully expected a massive sweat compiling the results this morning.
Nice little family pot in this one, with 5 of us getting out with points. @JACKDAW took the most, but @Dollie also made the final table.
£300 Deep Stack 10. NOSTRI (20 points)
I'll be honest: I had my eyes on the top of the leaderboard as I chipped up in this one. I went into my exit hand in 2nd place overall and ended up getting coolered out of my mind by the chip leader. Absolutely gutted. Oh well. That's poker, innit.

This week was much closer than last week, when @Kahnuna96 ran away with it pretty much from day one. At least the top eleven were well in contention to walk away with a free ticket. But we can only award four prizes, so let's see where they went.
In fourth was @cenachav, who started the night in second place but only managed to score 1 point last night despite several deep runs.
In third we have @engy, who picked up 87 points last night but finished where he started.
In second: @stokefc, picking up 49 points but dropping a place on yesterday's standings.
That can only mean one thing: I've only gone and won it. Despite the technical issues I had an absolutely storming night, picking up 175 points and jumping four places into first.
Fun facts: only one person broke the 300 point barrier last week, but three of us managed it this week. We played 787 tournaments between us, managing 37 final tables and 5 wins.
Week 2 Winners
1. @NOSTRI (367 points) — 1x Main Event entry 2. @stokefc (329 points) — 1x Mini Major entry 3. @engy (317 points) — 1x Mini Main entry 4. @cenachav (281 points) — 1x Mini Main entry
You know the score: speak to @Tikay10 to arrange when you'd like to use your free entry.
Consolations to @JACKDAW who almost placed in the league two weeks running but ended up being pipped to the post, and to @misterpj and @MynaFrett who were both on their first week out in the league and did brilliantly to finish in the top ten.
It was absolutely lovely to see no repeat winners this week. This league really can be won by anyone.
Here are the full final standings. Good luck in week three.
- Absolutely abysmal week for the £300 Rebuy and I'm afraid you have failed to save its life. We're going to kick it from the schedule. - No problems with the schedule newbies, the early £100 Rebuy and £500 Deep stack, so we'll hold on to them - Not so pretty for the late Deep Stack, but we're leaving it for now and we'll see how it does next week

Congratulations @NOSTRI and the other three who won prizes @stokefc, @engy@cenachav. Another enjoyable week though I could barely hit a barn door after Tuesday.
That was one heII of a final night performance @NOSTRI GG! Well done to all ticket winners.
I don't think I was worthy of a mention in the final writeup with 8th place from 37 games but @misterpj certainly was mention-worthy with his 7th place and impressive points haul from 18 games...
In all likelihood the league is going to be dominated by the players who are willing and able to commit to playing 30+ games a week. That's fine. The thing is, a lot of the players who wanted to be a part of this simply won't be able to commit to playing anything close to 30 games in a week for any number of reasons and therefore will really struggle to ever realistically compete for a top four spot and a prize. Could it be an option to have the top three places paid as is but have the prize for fourth place (fourth place isn't really a 'thing' anyway is it? Gold, Silver, Bronze...) go to the player who has the best record from a minimum of ten games and a maximum of twenty? Whether that would be purely points total or a combination of metrics, I don't know, but I think it would make it more interesting and give the lower volume players a better chance of getting something out of it at the end of the week.
We were discussing giving the 4th prize away as some kind of spot prize each week but we couldn't come up with anything that seemed suitable. Besides, shouldn't it be right that those who play more have a better chance of winning?
Perhaps, but they are rewarded with the £33 ticket for 1st, the £11 ticket for 2nd and a £5 ticket for 3rd... then a duplicate £5 ticket for 4th. I just thought there would be a nice balance in having the volume players competing for 3 spots and 3 prizes (including the £33 and £11 tickets) and the low volume players outside the top 3 having the chance to compete for 1 spot and a £5 ticket.

@WESSSSSST You're in. Good luck.
WP all, and congrats to Nostri (for honing the schedule perfectly to his benefit )
PS you’ve got the chav down twice in the Weekly Winners table, rather than Stokey in 2nd.
Well done to all ticket winners.

Just one of the counter arguments that immediately came to mind on posting but I don't think it's a strong counter.
This can be done with little volume as I intend to prove this week.
