In Response to Re: New BR challenge - Failed. : LOL i know who this is Don dw mate just think you got your cardiff seat booked for 23rd July Happy thoughts Don...... you can easily beat 4nl you should be playing at least 10/20nl with the amount of work you put into your game but downswings have affected this just keep at it mate or even try and buld a roll away from cash games then on mtts sngs etc then when you feel you have the right amount to skip 4 and 8nl go for it GL mate and will see you at Cardiff just in time to tell you how sheeet Rangers are Posted by delaney09
Wiiiii nice bink donald, well chuffed now lets get this thing back on track.... no tilting, no sats unless you add to your role make most of what you have now and obviously run better!
Back on track quite remarkably. Won a free seat to tonights totty rebuy via a twitter comp. So after 4 hours sleep (woke up and missed the first 15 mins of the tourny) i got onto it. Doubled early and never really done much after that for the first hour.

taking the rest of the night off and will get welll rested. Today has taken far more out of me than anyhting. Emotions have been a rollercoaster as much as the BR. I started this week with a meger bit more than a tenner. I grinded it while playing well, with a little run good to £38 then with a mix of bad luck and TERRIBLE play i was down as low as 51p. Shows ya really what poker is all about. Today has been one of the toughest times ive ever had since i started playing. Ive gone busto many times before, part of the parcel of the game with a small roll, but none have effected me the way it did today. Previously i just reloaded and got on with it. However i think it was the manner in how i lost it. I crumbled before my own eyes. Stress/tiredness every which way i looked and turned. I couldnt have done nothing.
Whats wierd though is ive had one NL4 reg saying my table selection was a problem, possible. But then theres another who said the one good thing about my AQ hand is that the table selection was good. I may occassionally bump into a decent reg, but really is it avoidable playing cash to play 2/3/4 tables without bumping into a single reg. The other problem ive had at night, theres 3 tables running and im planning to play 2, 2 regs on each minimum. Sometimes u gta take these. May approch the regs slightly differently now.
Well deserved win tonight don, well done x Posted by MADMOO
ty was a very good game. Final 3 was a little frustrating with me having a commanding chip lead and just not getting the right spots. HU you played very well, shoving alot over the raises takes away a huge amount of my HU game. So VWP.
Just spent another 8 hours 3-4 tabling on the micros- Was up a cpl of quid till i eventually tilted after 3 bad beats in a row and lost £20
Went on 10p/20p 2 tabling and within 20 minutes won it back and another £50 - Its so much less robotic and you can actually get bluffs through - i,m getting fed up with the micro,s myself

Yea know the feeling. Just bumping into the regs frequently doesnt help. Night last few days certianly showing to me that theres been very little value at NL4, which is kind of weird. Since that update all in finding are decent regs who wont stack off light.
Gonna do some dyms. Finding NL4 alot harder than i should of late. Disipline has been effected. Curious though as advice
My BR allows me 20BIs for £3.30 which is more than sustainable. However ive always felt more comfortable at £5.50 which it could support but not much room for margin for error.
I curious as to what people think is best. I will be 2 tabling them, as ive found 4x Dyms at once just isnt profitable for me as usually i cant cash in all 4 in a go. 3 usually but if im out of one early the pressure of needing to cash in the other 3 to make a profit effects my game and i become Overly nitty.
First one never got going, 2400 @ 300/600 blinds and im the shorty. Shove KQ, into QQ.
Other one, 2 shortys i get AQ on SB shorrty on BB so i shove, He calls 44. Lose a flip. Very next hand 88 v A8 flop brings an ace. Sometimes its just not meant to be

Had enough now tbh. Im not getting any sort of profit. and its not just one hand clearly as seen above, its a series of hands and im losing little amounts at once. Really dont know what im doing wrong. Playing simple ABC poker, get outdrawn consistantly, not hitting draws myself and its those hands that causing the profits and losses to be so great.
First hand with KJ, I think you can safely bet/fold that river. He shouldn't have many aces and he will pay a bet if he flopped top pair. Wd c betting with equity though, and you made a value hand on the turn. wp. Hand 2 with AK, wp, - never say u run bad again. Hand three, ul. Keep grinding. Play more tables, play for longer. Posted by DOHHHHHHH
JJ the problem isnt in the above 3 hands. All are standard i think. The problem is that im losing other hands. Ill see if i can find examples.

Ok again i think standard. But would value opinions as these are the types of hands that are costing me long term. P.S bar the set over set thats all my losing handa above 50p and i was £3.50 up at one point so where the deuce have i lost the other £3.50.
u shud b able to make £20-£40 a day easy from these, but don't focus on ur mini session results, play 4 at a time, dnt tilt if u crash out of the 1st one, goin 2/4 is ok coz ur av mini sessions where u go 4/4. the worst thing u can do is change ur style just because uv crashed out of one early. infact don't even view it like that, if ur gonna play for 2/3/4 hrs then just load up a new one as soon as u finish one, and only check ur balance at d end
