In a bit of a rush so I'll update about Sunday's grind later. It wasn't particurly great but was not nearly as bad as a Sunday can be. Was about -£200 on Sky, had a really decent starting heading towards the money in roller, was about 4/40 at one point, blew it and didn't cash, but got a 6th in £22BH to make the night marginally less poor.
Staked games I was about -$130 which is all good, didn't run very well, and there's a promo on one of the sites where I get 50% of my BIs back from this weekend so I'm getting about $50 back.
=================================
Anyway, the reason I wanted to post was just because I have some exciting news. As a few of you will know I've been streaming on Twitch recently and my first 2 sessions have went really well on there imo. Last night I'm not even counting as a session, annoyingly I had to cut the stream short early because EE are obv throttling my internet on Sundays and it made the stream totally unwatchable, so looks like I'll have to stick to midweek days in future for the stream.
Anyway, Pocketfives, the ranking site recently set up their own 'TV channel' on their site basically to host poker playing streaming from Twitch and I am going to be debuting on there this Tuesday 24th and then again on Tursday 26th March. Both times I'm gonna be starting around 7:30pm and going on until we either win everything or bust everything.
Think it should be ok to post this link but if not a mod can take it down
This is where it'll take place, and if you look on the right hand side below the chat box now you can see the schedule for the upcoming week including me. Fwiw, I really think this is exactly what Sky should be doing, and I think it is what they will do, set up their own 'SkyPokerTV' on the site as a place to stream Twitches and try to replicate some of the community feel of 861 but at a fraction of the cost.
If that is the route Sky take, then I'd love to spearhead that movement and so this is a great opportunity for me to try and build a big viewer base now that I'll instantly be able to bring over to the Sky Twitch.
It's been a busy few days for me trying to get things set up/thing looking better on my Twtich cannel and trying to do lots of advertising for it.
Firstly, thank you again to everyone that joined in watching me host my first show on the PocketFives TV channel last night. I think it well pretty well, the guy who organises it all/asked me to do the show was appy with my style of streaming/hosting and I got the highest viewer count I've seen on there from the few streams I've watched on their channel. I was running at 55-65 viewers for most of the night which is pretty decent, that number is going up a little with every stream I've done so far.
On the poker front, it wasn't great but it wasn't awful either. I was pretty much break even on party as I got $45 in heads in the $50 turbo BH but just missed out on the $175 mincash Pretty much break even on Stars, few heads here and there but another deep run in the 27ko finishing 68/1490 for $90 meant I was pretty break even. Lost a bit on 888, only played the $11r and the $109 high roller challenger and didn't cash either. I was doing ok the high roller, abuot 350 regged (making $9.5k ftw), I think it was about 40 paid, and we just lost a flip with about 100 left, pretty standard.
Was all looking a bit meh on Sky, few heads here and there but no deep runs in anything, then a few big hands and around midnight I was looking at trying to FT 2 comps on here. If I remember rightly I was 3/7 in a £22BH and 3/10 in the big £11BH (the 9:30pm one w/ about £450-500 ftw).
They didn't turn out that great in the end, I managed to FT the £22BH busting in 6th for about £140 (and maintaining my record of FTing a comp on every stream I've done so far), and I finished just off the FT busting in 8th in the £11BH, had a big flip with AKs against a PP... can't remember what it was but lost to bust in 8th anyway for about £50. So I ended up finishing about +£15 for the night.
While tables were low towards the end, just 2tabling those 2 BHs above I decided to add in a table of cash too, couldn't get on any 100NL tables, and there was only 1 50NL table with a space so just jumped on that for half an hour and finished about +£15 there.
Target is looking pretty hard to reach atm but it's not over till the fat ladie sings. I still got 7 days left of the month and 164 comps to go, so I need to average about 23 comps per day, definitely do-able but will be a push as obv I don't play 100% of days.
Cheers Timmy and cheers for popping in. Atm I'm gonna be streaming every session I play so something like 3 mornings per week (9am-3pm) and 4-5 evenings per week (7:30pm-1am+) ish.
I'm gonna be hosting on Pocketfivess again tomorrow night, then I will be back to my own channel. Although the feedback from pocketfives guy is very positive and I think they're gonna want me to do a few shows there everyweek, so dunno.

I watched some of this-very informative, recommend people try it
Im gonna sound stupid here but is pocketfives like Twitch? Ive started following you on Twitch. Posted by TimmyRaRa
Pocket 5s is primarily a poker player rankings site, but also has a TV channel. Can get good info re players on various sites-it does not (yet) track Sky...

Cheers for the follow.
Yeah, as Phil said, PocketFives is mainly a rankings site, it covers pretty much every site except Sky. You just have to sign up and as part of your profile you'll have to tell them your aliases on every site you play on and it'll auto get all the information since you started on that site, like here is mine: http://www.pocketfives.com/profiles/lambert180/
The thing I'm hosting on (PocketFivesTV) is just another Twitch channel just that PocketFives have a link to it on their own site.
Both just channels/pages on Twitch but PocketFives give me a password/code so I can stream on their channel. Fwiw, some other places like Stars, Pokertube etc have their own Twitch channels too.
Feeling tired and wanting to do a morning grind so getting off to bed asap, so just a quick update.
Twitch went well, will be glad to be back to my own channel tomorrow though as it's a lot less messing. A nice bink tonight meant I am still maintaining my success rate of making at least FT every single session I've played on Twitch.
Only other cashes (apart from the bink) on stake were just a few heads in KOs. That 27ko comp I FT'd last Friday and came 6th for just shy of $1.1k... well I FT'd it again tonight and went 1 better finishing 5th for nearly $1.6k. Was about $5250 ftw fwiw.
Not much success on Sky at all, finished about -£170. GG'd the main 99<77 aipf... soon all those Twitch viewers are gonna be able to see first hand how for some reason I can just never get a break in a sky ME.
God I didn't realise it had been that long since I'd updated!
I've not been running really bad or anything, just kept being tired at the end of sessions and forgetting to update. I failed on the 500 comp target which is pretty awful, I still played more than Jan and Feb but that doesn't say much cos they were awful volume. Haven't got the numbers, but I know I broke the 400 comp mark, think it was something like 420 comps in the end so poor effort.
March was pretty ok all round, nothing spectacular but an average solid month. I chopped up £750 from the stable (well chopped £1500, but £750 was my half) througout March, I was about £400 up on the cash tables on Sky, about £550 up on Sky MTTs, and then another £50 C4P. So all in all about +£1750 for March.
Just trawling through my Pocket5s and my spreadsheet for Sky to see if there have been any binks/runs of note since the last update. Not much on stake, I had a deepish run in the big55 but bust in 108th for $170 ($18k up top in that), got 59th out of about 1700 in a 27pko the other night for about $100 and FT'd the 11r on 888 but was first out on FT so got about $160.
On Sky since last update... I got 2nd in the MBI for about £380, a deep run in a £33 main but bust 25th for about £90, FT'd an £11 BH last night where I bust 6th for £85, and also got 2nd last night in a £22BH for just shy of £300.
I didn't have much in the way of success in Day 1 of UKOPS... bust the main about 10 off the money with no heads, bricked the £5r and £22bh, and finished 17th with 13 paid in the £55 BH although at least I got like £60 of heads in that. So we're off to an ok start for April, think I'm about +£150 on Sky and think I'm about $200 down for stake.
Hi Paul, just a note to say I'm enjoying your Twitch sessions. It's good to get an insight into your game. Keep 'em coming and GL. Posted by Payney1978
Cheers Payney, I'll be going live again tonight about 7:30pm to stream the last night of UKOPS.
================================
UKOPS has been a bit of a non-starter for me, I didn't get much in the way of cashes on Friday, Saturday I didn't play and then last night Sky wouldn't let me login to the site so had to miss out all of Sky from my Sunday schedule
It did mean I played a ton of staked stuff though, and was in for a total of like $750-$800 across party/stars/888. I did manage to just about make a profit on the day... I FT'd the 11r on 888 again, finishing 5th for $500 and FT'd a $55KO on 888 too, small field but got 4th and 2 heads for about $250. I stone bubbled the $35 turbo on 888 which was pretty grim cos I was like 4/24 with 20 paid, but it's a very quick/shallow comp and I lost a few races and it was gg. Had a few small cashes elsewhere to make for a small profit on the day of about $150.
So I had a pretty decent night of UKOPS last night. Most will have seen in the thread I started last night but I got off to a great start then got totally crippled with AA v 22 on K82hh, was left with 2bb at 100/200 and somehow managed to spin it up and finish in 2nd place for £1500 so in the dying hours I managed to save myself from having a total white wash this UKOPS.
Apart from a few min cashes and bounties it was a pretty bricky night on the stake
I got Pingu to SS me and Larson again this morning for our prop bet, knew I'd still be behind but that catching him would look a bit more realistic so here it is.
SS seems to miss more stuff than I thought cos my true MTT profit for 2015 is more like £2k (I keep a spreadsheet) but I know an £11BH the other day, I came 3rd and think Larson came 2nd or won it and that got missed off, so we're both gonna miss some stuff so not worth worrying about, sharkscope variance.
I've been keeping track of games played again so far this month, not actually set a target but was pretty annoyed I didn't hit 500 comps last month cos it should be easyyyy for me, so wanna keep track this month so I know when i do beat 500 this month.
Had a few decent runs/results today but nothing spectacular.
On stake, I finished 122/1513 for about $80 in a 27pko, FT'd the $50 turbo BH on party finishing 6/88 for about $250, mincashed the 11r on 888, finishing 25th for $53, and I just finished an $11 FO on 888 too where I came 2nd for $330 ($550 ftw). So was about +$300 for the night.
Small loss on Sky, only results really were 10th in an £11BH for about £35 and I played the £17 VLV sat again and won my £77 seat. Annoyingly they seem to have taken away the option to pre-reg the later stages which I always like to do unless I'm not free to play but I guess I'll have to make sure I'm free this Saturday night to play the £77 game.
Forgot to update the last time I played which was Thursday.
Financially it wasn't too bad a night but it felt really sigh, I had big stacks going everywhere in the first hour or two and just didn't convert any of them. Finished 165/1550 for about $40 in a 27pko, finished about 150th out of about 3000 in the Hot7 for about $25 and got 2 heads in the $50 turbo BH for $30, no other cashes on stake.
On Sky I had a great start in the main, doubled within 30 mins, and had trebled within an hour, was top 10 stack or thereabouts for most of the tourney and CL for a good while, then with about 50 left I just blew it, made a few bad calls, got a bit unlucky and eventually jammed BvB w/ KT into K8, all was going well for the double until the 8 river. So I went from about 10/50 (with 40 paid) to busting in 48th, although did get like £70 in heads. I played the £17 VLV sat again just for the £77 this time (as I won my seat earlier in the week) and there was insane overlay for some reason... £17 BI, 7x£77 seats GTD and it kicked off wiht 7 runners lol and only reached 17 by the end of late reg. I shouldn't lol cos despite it being almost 1in2 that got a seat, I still didn't manage to get one, bust 9th I think which was pretty annoying. Then towards the end of the session I managed to save the night by FTing the MBI where I finished 5th for about £190
===============================
Tonight I was at my mums and wouldn't always play but I had won my £77 VLV seat and wasn't able to take the money so I had to take that and I wasn't gonna sit there 1tabling so I just had a night of Sky only.
Spotted another £17 VLV sat that looked like good value with about 5 mins of late reg left so I jumped in that and won my seat to pocket £77.
The only other result of the night is that I went on and wno my £350 VLV seat from the £77 game Very excited to be playing the final in 2 weeks time and have a shot at one of the £3.5k packages.
Otherwise I just got a few heads across the mini, £11BH and £55BH, so small loss in terms of what's in my account right now, but deffo a few hundred up if I couunt my £350 seat.
Cheers JJJ, sadly the final is gonna take place on a Saturday when I'm at my mum's house in Liverpool so I won't have the setup or internet speed there to be able to stream it. Yeah I'd absolutely love to win a seat (as I'm sure everyone would), I aint even left the country on holiday since I was 7yr old (21 years ago)!
============================================
Having a bit of a dry patch on the stake at the moment. I had a couple of shots to get a score tonight but fell short. Zero cashes on 888, $15 of bounties in the $50 turbo BH on party, 132/1391 just ITM with a few heads in a 27pko for about $50, and the best shot of the night 32/1409 in the 27turbo KO (the one I've FT'd twice) for about $100 + $40 in heads, I didn't look but it's usually about $5k for 1st.
Things went a bit better on Sky but still a lot of near misses really, I got....
12th out of 108 in an £11BH for £35
25th out of 295 in Main for £125
4th out of 469 in Mini for £100
25th out of 280ish in £11BH for £11
8th out of 40 in MBI for £90
The main/mini was pretty gutting, I was looking in pretty ok shape for a jackpot then it all went a bit wrong. I was 16/25 in the main and GII pre w/ QQ v KK, I flopped a FD aswell to get out of it but couldn't get there. I still managed to FT the mini but I had a pretty massive stack and this hand on the FT bubble really killed my momentum and left me going into the FT pretty short.

The other really gutting hand was when I was cruising in the MBI with a massive stack, think I was 2/8 (6 paid) then I GII with KK v AT v AK (with 1 of those being the only guy that had me covered) for what would have been another head a proper huuuuuge CL, but I lost and bust in 8th. So about +£170 for the night on Sky, but oh so close to a few big ones.
Yo, couples of days without an update but I have been playing (Wed and Thurs).
Still not getting much in the way of results on 888/party/stars for the last couple of weeks, although I am just about managing to have the odd small cash here and there to avoid getting in too deep a hole. I had 1 cash across those 3 sites on Wednesday but that was 3rd place in the $50 turbo BH on party for $465 so managed to make a small profit.
Last night got off to the the most grim start of a session that I've ever had since grinding MTTs in 2015. I reg in the region of 25-30 comps per night with my session starting around 7pm, when I get to 9:30pm ish I always have an absolute minimum of 10 tables running, often 12+, last night at 9:30pm I had 2 tables... I was just busting them faster than I could reg them lol. Not much you can do about it, I was happy with how I played all of the hands leading to my bust outs, just sometimes all your beats/coolers come at once, just gotta keep regging up more comps. Again across all 3 sites I managed a total of 1 cash, in the very last comp of the night as well, a $55KO on 888 that starts at 11:15pm... I almost managed to save the session with that comp as I think 1st/2nd would have got me out of it but I bust in 6th for $125 to at least cushion the blow a bit.
====
Sky has been a little better (but not much), Wednesday I had a deep run in the main, and had a good shot to make another run at my first main event win but with 15 left I got it in pre ATvA6 and gg'd on 6xx so got about £70. Only other 'result' Wednesday was busting in 17th in £55 9pm BH for £45 of heads.
As above (having 2 tables left by 9:30pm) Sky didn't start well on Thursday either, I was busting comps for fun, then managed to save the night right at the end. No cashes (apart from the odd head) up until about 11pm and then I ended up FT'ing the 9pm £55 BH and the MBI, neither one was a great bink like but certainly can't complain. I got 6th in the MBI for £150 and 4th in the 9pm for £185 so finished up making a little over £100 profit.
I've been watching a lot of inspirational speeches recently on Youtube and this one led me to do a little more learning about US history. I'll share the speech here because I think it's brilliant... it makes me very sad to think of these people who work so selflessly for the betterment of the world and are taken away so early.
Cheers JJJ, sadly the final is gonna take place on a Saturday when I'm at my mum's house in Liverpool so I won't have the setup or internet speed there to be able to stream it. Yeah I'd absolutely love to win a seat ?????
????????
You mad bro?????
Liverpool WONT get to the final as wel be knocking them out in the semis on Sunday!!!
