iiii - THIRSK 5.15 -SHERIFF OF NAWTON 5-1 - Well handicapped on old form, won cosily last time and fav has never ran at this distance so value here. LOST WHAT DO I KNOW lol BARWELL WON EASILY AND MINE STRUGGLED
iii- HAYDOCK 1.50 - DUBHE 9-2 - Won last time out over this distance and majority of opponents trying a mile for the first time. Derby entryand trainer had a treble last night. LOST, NOT GOOD ENOUGH AND CHILEAN LOOKED VERY IMPRESSIVE
ii - ASCOT 3.20 - AMABILIS -7-1 - Badly drawn last time after winning her previous race and up against it anyway against SHENANIGANS. Eased when beaten, hoping this is easier WINNER (ONLY GOT 11-2 IN END DUE TO RULE 4'S) EASILY STALKING THEM AND WON WELL , THANK GOODNESS FOR RALPH BECKETT
i- ASCOT 2.45 - SQUATS - 7-1 -Another who was beaten last time but a lot of difference between soft turf and Chelmsford AW. 4th in this last year and now 2lb better off. LOST and not really travelling and a horse that I was following wins it. REMARKABLE!!!!!!

I do tend to learn from my mistakes but just goes to show. He was desperately unlucky in races he should have won and then lands one he probably shouldnt have been anywhere near in. I suppose he liked not having so many hrses around him.
Won the big Marston Handicap at Uttoxeter easily in his last race over fences. since then had another warm up race over hurdles. I reckon he is still very well handicapped over fences and if I knew he handles this ground I would be very confident.

That is what i wrote after our go live at Leicester. I was certain he wouldnt win . He has now had another get fit race at Lingfield over turf and now back to AW Kempton 5.45 where he is a c/d winner. Think he might not blow out this time.
Yes good decision Graham, and RED TROOPER just running to get him fitter, never run on turf , not run since February, running all over them until 1 and 1/2 furlongs out and went out like a light. Nice that they made him fav and we avoided him.
