    This is from 2016?
TR left EDL in 2013 according to Mr Google, perhaps the (alleged?) victims of this act had been disillusioned by previous encounters with authorities, who knows? The fact remains the focus should be on the (alleged?) wrong doers.
Rainman on a break from posting?
The date of the article is irrelevant , but the emphasis of the content isn't and shouldn't be .
So that’s the victims responsibility taken care of numerous times, thoughts on perpetrators? Should TR be held to account, banned from pub? Are his (alleged?)actions here one of a hero? ( Rainmans description of him)

Whilst alleged is the word we are using repeatedly today, isn’t every crime alleged until proven in a court of law?
It's everyones responsibility to tackle racism !
So that’s the victims ., and everyone else in society....apart from the perpetrators ...
Any answers to the rest of the questions?

In my phone so can't post the quotes/questions from the responses to what I said so will try to catch it all. If I miss something let me know and I'll reply later on.

First occasion there was nothing we could do, 2 members of staff (me & the boss) caught completely unaware, we just had keep serving until they moved on. Of course one of the guys who threw a bottle at me I didn't serve there after, but with that many of his mates in the place, someone else simply bought him a drink. Had we decided to not serve anyone it would have just started riot. Eventually once people started to move on we managed to give a heads up to police/other pubs in the area & some managed to close before the "mob" turned up.

So after that TR/Carroll etc would still visit pubs in town but tended to stay in certain "sympathetic" places, however they of course couldn't just stay in their little corner so would wander out and go all over town. In the very early days they would turn up, words would be said and normally a fight would break out. (That wasn't just the pub I was working in, but in majority of the ones they visted). Police would be called and people arrested etc. Because this was happening so often & because of the kind of person TR is, when he would go out in town he would have a police "escort". 2 or 3 coppers just following him round, waiting to deal with anything that kicked off/acting as a deterrent to anyone.

This is where I might surprise some of you, but this is where TR is actually pretty smart. By this time he had an entourage of about 50 along with a few coppers, so TR wouldn't get his hands dirty, he just got one of his minions to do so. Saw TR throw a few of his followers under the bus a number of times, was quite funny with some of the rhetoric he comes out with.

We of course reported anything that needed to be reported to the police & helped them whenever they asked for it CCTV etc. TR/Carroll and a number of the entourage were eventually barred from the pub I worked in, it took time to happen because the boss at the time wasn't that great. In the time between first incident & him getting barred I refused to serve him and anyone else who had hurled racist abuse my way or to the way of another patron.

    Great post @bunnydas

No need to quote the others we all know what assumptions they were making and that they will defend anything TR says or does.

Interesting account . Was TR arrested and/or charged with any offence as a result of any of this trouble you have highlighted at the time ?

    After Nigel Farage.....
The former leader of Ukip Paul Nuttall has quit the party over its decision to appoint Tommy Robinson as an adviser.

yea ..pretty silly move really by Batten to handle a " hot potato " ..probably won't last too long as leader . r.e Nuttall , resigned as a result of not being able to substantiate ( as polite as i can put it ) a comment he made about having friends that died in the hillsborough disaster . So not sure where his credibility about anything is .

    Arrested yes, charged no idea.

Pretty sure he was also "arrested" a few times just so police could move him away from the trouble he was causing/inciting.

    Dropping like flies
Scottish MEP David Coburn was also revealed to have left UKIP on Friday, claiming the party is heading towards an "anti-Islam" platform

Cue google search to discredit him...

Happy to help : In 2015, Coburn compared Scottish government minister Humza Yousaf to the convicted terrorist Abu Hamza, later apologising and calling it a "joke".

In 2016, it had been reported that Coburn's Chief of Staff, Arthur (Misty) Thackeray had been arrested for making a string of indecent phone-calls of a sexual nature, to a number of unsuspecting women, some of which took place in Coburn's Edinburgh constituency office. Thackeray, who also served as interim chairman of UKIP in Scotland resigned from his position in wake of the allegations which he denied and was defended by Coburn in a tweet where he stated that Thackeray was "Innocent until proven guilty." In January 2017, Thackeray pleaded guilty to making indecent phone-calls and was sentenced by Glasgow Sheriff Court in February 2017 to 270 hours of community service and will appear on the Sex Offenders Register for three years. After his sentencing, Thackeray continued his employment with Coburn until April of that year when he was eventually dismissed by Coburn for Gross Misconduct.

What I don't really get though is , what makes you feel the need to illustrate whos leaving a party ( that you have no respect for ) , because of TR's appointment .

Erm ... Because this thread is about TR perhaps..
You seem rather adept at discrediting opponents of TR-
How’s your googling of TR misdeeds coming along? You not being a fan and all .

To be fair I don't think it is too great a task to discredit most (any?) UKIP MEPs with a google search.

I am not sure how a UKIP MEP with racist views and associations with a sex offender leaving UKIP in protest of its association with TR actually strengthens any pro TR argument?

    Perhaps someone could enlighten me?

And herein lies the problem I have with it ....if i came on here for example and said " I've been out socialising with TR most weekends for the last 12 months ( obv I haven't ) and have never seen him create or be responsible for any racial attacks but I've seen plenty of opponents try and start trouble just because of who he is " ...if I come on and said that , the " mob " would be screaming for me to provide evidence of it and dismissing it , because in their words I would be a " fanboy/girl" . A random comes on , supporting the populus view on here and surprise , surprise , no one questions it .
