MTT Mission has started so had a go at a £5 PLO8 MTT to pick up 5 points.

Managed to bink a 2nd for £36. Pomfrittes deservedly won it having bossed our table.

However when the FT bubble finally broke (still don't understad why it had to be hand for hand play) there was another player with over £40k chips and pom was looking a bit short all of a sudden and the other 4 of us were just thinking ladder ladder ladder with only 3 places played. Pom carried on with the aggression and I snuck into 3rd and then the 2 chipleaders went to war to leave me v short with pom. Survived a few allins to make it interesting but eventually got my dues.

Did badly at the DYMs but some good fun at the tables.

Got myself another £2.30 last week so that makes the total fund...

£18.40 tokens + £11.35 in reserved cash from 500 pt weeks.

Reed won me some money on the golf (withdrawn profit plus a bit more) as B/R is now £164.45. Have some free bets to use this week but not much on that I know anything about. Might just have to mug punt a few e/w shots.

As it is MTT Mission month I am going to go for the first £5 Token, which needs 50 points. Having got off to a good start with the PLO8 mtt and with double points on MTTs should be easy to qualify this week.

With another £2.30 token to come it could mean my rewards qualified main event will be played next week.

MTT Mission results so far are below. Making a profit and 22 points earned so far.

    Cheerz MR Cheez.

Yes I know about the time limit on the free bets, hence the might have to mug punt comment.

I only have any sort of track record on football and the big events on the golf, cycling and tennis calendar.

The only footie is the internationals plus the EFL trophy, not sure there is much edge in betting on Derby u21s v Doncaster's probable reserve team. Maybe once team sheets are out you might be able tell which lower league teams are actually up for it.

The £5 token will have a 1 week limit too, hence I am quite likely to use next week on a M/E with the other funds.

Got my 50 points in and doubt I will be able to hit 250 so that's probably it for this week.

I hit a couple of £5 turbos freezout and bounty hunt at 10 and 10:15 and the £11 bounty hunter at 930.

Bad mistake in the £11, knew I had to be behind to a better kicker on a AAT board but still called #sigh

Took 1 head in the £5 b/h and then when getting short and still a way from the money shoved a suited ace and ran into AQ.

Was going ok in the freezout until KK wasnt good enough aipf v KQ.

Still a better player than me said they keep getting it in 90% ahead and losing all the time. I know they are better than me because they said they were profitable and if it wasnt for the bad beats they would be a millionaire.

Put my bets on the golf details on betting thread. No real insight so they are not tips, I am running well on a very small sample of bets this year. 6 runners and 6 places paid will hopefully give me some interest for the weekend.

    Had a pleasant morning/lunchtime.

Tried a £2 bh this morning and binked it. A couple of standard flips won to get me to the money then we were playing tag with the chip lead until I totally luckboxed a flush with rag ace v AQ. Makes the months MTT figures look better. Still dont think I'll get up to 250 points but the £5 token will be handy.

Then saw Mr Channing was on the cash tables. I think I carried a turbo bh style into that game, which worked until I tried an ill-judged bluff on Neil and was thankful this was a 2p/4p table. As I commented at the time great to be able to pit your wits against a professional with only a few pounds at most at risk.

In truth I was playing aggressively but with decent (imo) starting hand ranges and I wasnt bluffing post flop much at all.

When I joined the Challenge Channing cash game I started off very aggro, to be fair I had KK, 89s and AT in first 3 hands. After a couple of orbits of no cards I received another cluster of starting hands and got busy again. I won a lot of uncontested pots for a handful of pennies. I can't remember calling much pre, or checking much post.

Then when I started getting resistance I took that to mean that opponents had adjusted to my aggression and were playing back at me. Rather than the more obvious conclusion that they had picked up the hand or hit the board like they had been patiently waiting to do and could sit back and let me do the betitng for them like the cash fish that I am.

NC did me twice (I think I did myself really in one, check-raise bluffing with air) and the one pot I managed to win v Neil he confessed to a misclick reraise. My reraise getting him off the pot for the princely win of 58p. Still I will save it for posperity, the hand I 5 bet Neil Channing.

So my mini MTT Mission is over. I have qualified for my £5 token and it is double points SNGs coming up for the weekend.

Last night I played tired and it showed bricking a timed tourney and turbo bounty hunter, This morning bricked 3 b/hs apart from a couple of heads.

So this evening it was the FOSP PLO8 league games. The new late reg is a great addition as it meant I could play all 4 despite only loggin on around 8:15. Happy days!

Even happier when I won two tourneys! The only downside being that one of them wasnt a FOSP tourney. I just auto regged all PLO8 ones and took in a £3 one as well.

Having 4 on the go was a bit taxing for me especially when deep in a couple so lost my focus in some spots but cannot complain.

Overall figures for the run of MTTs

    Played 19
    Cashed  5*
    Won     3
    Staked  £80
    Profit    £35.50
    ROI      44.4%

    * In fact the other 2 cashes were a 2nd and a 4th. If I include the all-in sat (which I have for stake and points counts) thats 3 Final tables in addition to the 3 wins :-)

The £5 token for the MTT Mission (2x£2.50 actually) is in the account now.

So it is official, I have enough rewards saved up to have a shot at a £33 main and only 1 week to do it before the £5 disappears.

    Decisions, decisions...

Accidentally regged a 16.50 instead of a 3.30 dym tonight.

Sat between tsarina and timmyrara didnt do much for the confidence. In not a very long time got myself pot committed against an unknown player to me with 77 and shoved on turn. called by KQ overcards. K river gg gn.

Now my B/R is higher I really must use the filters on game size to stop mw doing that again.

In other ways ran pretty well as B/R now up to £270.

Think I will go for Tuesday freezout with the tokens. I know B/H would spread the variance and give me more of a chance of getting some cash back but I just prefer freezouts and so will stick to what suits me. The 15% payouts might help me too.

As I will be getting 30 points for the main (and 5 for the mini) I may as well go for 50 points and the £5 token again this week, once the double points for SNGs finishes.

Had a bit of a melt down last night.

Had an enjoyable set of PLO8 dyms winning 4/5, shame the 1 was an £11 but never mind.

When these stopped I checked the time and the the points balance and decided I could get to 500 points.

It didnt go well, couple of mistakes, some runbad and then a computer lock up at 11:45pm with 5 tables running didnt help.

Lost quite a bit and to cap it all didnt make 500 points, busting out at 00:01 for the game which would have seen me over, a £16.50 turbo that I had regged for deliberately this time.

B/R now £155 with another £2.30 token to come today.

I have reached my goal of tokens for the main entry so maybe I really should stop chasing points.

Taking a break from the tables today, hopefully to come back focussed for the main tomorrow night.

Just realised I also made a withdrawal yesterday so not quite as bad as first thought, but still pretty bad.

£23.40 in tokens plus £9.60 in cash from the weeks when I got 500+ points will be used in the main, leaving me with £1.75 to rollover to the next challenge.
