Well , got to post the bad along with the good. I am slightly disappointed, following the great result after a five week gap, to not move at all...... In fairness I have hardly done any sort of exercise at all, but my calorie intake has been down as well. All we can do is shrug our shoulders and move on to next week and hope for a better result then. I am going to need it, the following ten days see the whole clan descend on Portsmouth, restaurants have already been booked and BarBQ’s cleaned. This will be a stern test, being good in Vegas was hard, but when your entire family is around you filling their faces. May have to take a small gain and use that as a stimulus for the big push towards Christmas and my 14 stone goal.

I've completely fallen off the wagon & can't stop eating. Exercise? Nope. Dread to think what I weigh now.
And for rubs, i have my scheduled 3 monthly appointment with my dietician on Tuesday, as part of the Rehab plan the hospital put me on post heart attack.
Last time I went, I had just lost 3 stone, & she was amazed, showering me with praise. Tuesday won't be as nice though......
I just need to find the motivation to get back on it. I've been completely "flat" mentally & physically since Vegas, & sleeping very poorly too. One way & another, am not in great shape right now. One thing a successful diet & exercise regime does is make us feel better about ourselves, feel more positive about everything. I can't get get started until I "feel it", my head needs to be in the right place. Hopefully, something will get me back on it very soon.

Been a few weeks since I checked in, and have been away for some of that so a lot of hotel food + generally not eating healthily and not exercising enough.
Last night weight was 13:8, lowest point on the thread so far has been 13:3; going to do my best to have a good week going forward and get back on track again, hoping to get to 13 - and sub 13 - sooner rather than later.
After last weeks standstill a nice result of four pounds lost. Averaging out to two ponds a week which is about right. Big test coming up,as I mentioned last week ,the family are coming down for our summer get together. Lots of food, drink and merriment over the next ten days. A real chance of me putting some weight on by this time next week, if it happens so be it, I will just have to start again.
Well done @LARSON7 and @Essexphil always nice to be moving in the right direction. Hopefully @Tikay10 has found the right “headspace “ , he’s right, if it’s not in the right place you have no chance. Hope the trip to the doctors wasn’t too painful. Did anyone see the programme on BBC1 on Thursday night, all about carbohydrates, if you didn’t, try and catch it on iPlayer, it explains some things that may be of help to some, the potential to save the NHS millions is something I have been talking about for ages. I am at just under 1 stone weightloss. No where near the 2.5stone I was looking for and only 2 weeks left till the holiday, but still happy with that loss. Will surely put it all back on during the holiday but feel I have made real changes in diet so it will carry on coming back off slowly when back. will update with pic when I get a chance
Put a couple of pounds on since last weigh in. I was off work so the diet and the gym went on the back burner a bit. Still 4lb lighter than first weigh in and back in the routine now so should start going in the right direction again.
