I have been wishing I had joined this thread straight after New Year, I didn’t and having seen me blotting out the sun in pictures of last weeks SPT , I wish I had even more.
Have not been near a set of scales for fear of bursting into tears. It is so easy to slip , no matter what your vice is, and it is never easy to get back on the straight and narrow. With the weather warming up it should entice me out for walks, but I hate how I end up sweating like the proverbial pig, always think people are looking at me and judging.
I have to do something, and quickly or the slope may be to hard to overcome.

Never too late to start Nick, why not give it a go?

It's a perfect pain to exercise & eat diet-food, but when the weight starts to drop off the sense of achievement is awesome.

I was feeling a bit queasy on the way home. Think either my 12th sausage or 14th rasher of bacon might have been on the turn ;)

Only thin people even see the fruit. Those people may not live longer, but I bet it seems like it.

Ho hum-back to the rabbit food....

    Another disappointing week for me.

After losing over a stone in the first 4 weeks, I've actually gained 0.25 lbs in the last fortnight.

Knew this week would be bad, due to SPT, but when I got back I really went for it, increased the exercise & ate correctly, & was hoping I might just get away with it.

When I got on the scales & saw "no change" I must admit I was pretty disappointed. Still, I guess it could have been worse.

My initial target was 13st 7lbs by Manchester SPT & I managed that OK.

Next target is 13 stone by Road to Manchester, which is March 9th, three weeks away.

Gill is down for a 5 day break in a fortnight, so that's another challenge, as the food comes past me on a conveyor belt when she is here.

Anyway, 3.75lbs, to bring me to 13st by RtM is the target. On we go.

    Start 14'1 1/4.
    Today 13'8.

Away on skiing trip next week, 5 blokes, no wives, no kids, just lots of beer and food.
Wont be weighing in next Friday and aim for the following Friday must be to stick to 13'8.
    That will be some achievement.

    Better.

After 2 bad weeks due to SPT Manchester & a long weekend with Gill, I got back on it this week & gave it a real go, both as to exercise volume & food intake.

A 3.25lbs on the week loss was about in the middle of my expected loss range, so I'm reasonably happy with that.

    Here's where I am after 7 weeks;

    Starting weight = 14st 5.25lbs

    After Week 1 = 13st 12lbs

    After Week 2 = 13st 10.5lbs

    After Week 3 = 13st 6.25lbs

    After Week 4 = 13st 3.5lbs

    After week 5 = 13st 3.75lbs

    After week 6 - 13st 3.75lbs

    After week 7 - 13st 0.5lbs

    Total loss after 7 weeks = 1st 4.75lbs (18.25lbs)

14:3 this week, quite happy with that; it's quite hard coming back from holiday and cutting out all the excesses, but getting there.

The hardest thing has been getting back into some kind of fitness routine.

I went my first run on Wednesday and was also running this morning, so back on the right track again.

Hoping for a good week and sub 14 stone by next Friday.

In terms of fat club, we've both been down with this flu bug so working on the premise of: ' Starve a cold, feed a fever".. I've been very feverish for about 10 days! .SO

14 6 today so 6lb shy of my target to get to 14st by Manchester...lets hope I win an RTM seat on Sunday and will have 8 days to lose 6lbs!!!
