We've seen 22/1 & 28/1 winners from the handful of dark horses I've spoken about in this thread, and, although I won't be mentioning every horse that enters my notebook, I will continue to discuss the odd runner.
Richard Hannon's Corofin may have finished 11th of 14 runners in the opener at Lingfield this morning, but that is a finishing position which can be totally ignored.
Travelling well turning in, Thore Hammer Hansen made the mind-boggling decision to switch the rail, obviously resulting in immediate traffic problems, losing all chance.
Once in the clear, out wide, she finished well enough to suggest she could've played a part if receiving a competent ride.
She is already 19lbs lower than her initial assessment from the handicapper, so is extremely well in on her maiden form and the handicapper may mistakenly drop her again after this.
Placement wont be easy, it never is for horses rated 40-odd, but, if they find the right event, she could well pop up at a price.
I have been running extremely poorly in the daily draws. I believe I was picked out the hat today but had failed to chalk up the required points needed to qualify.
Currently 12/41 in the Mega after playing a hand poorly, but getting lucky.
I shove all-in with 99 after a small c-bet from heddoh on a 568 flop. Although I am probably good against many c-bets and have the inside draw, it was, at best, wreckless.
heddoh called and tabled Tens. I undeservedly hit the middle pin on the river.
I make a profit in a the Mini, finishing in around 30th place.
I was a bit disappointed as held a stack at one stage.
This was a particularly annoying hand...

I may not have lost a lot here, but usually QQ would shove here, which forces the eventual winner out and enables me to win a decent size pot and a bounty.
I went out with AQ, undone by the old UTG limp/20%-of-stack call with J7.
I flopped an Ace but my opponent hit a flush. NH, sir.
Didn't play Friday. Which is a real statement regarding how I rate my chances on here at the moment.
Played a little tonight.

Thankfully, and contrary to what I thought a few months back, my horse racing business has returned to usual levels. A huge relief as, had I been relying on poker for the past two months, I would now be on starvation rations.
The 2:55 at Southwell earlier today may have been a lowly Class 6 handicap, but it's a race that may provide a winner or two in the coming weeks.
Brian Ellison's Sezina ran on well into third place and shapes as if coming to hand. She will probably find a similar event soon. Were she to sport some form of headgear, I would be especially interested.
Back in 7th, Sharrabang performed much better than the bare form suggests. Stella Barclay's gelding travelled well before, ultimately, proving that a mile a stretch too far.
Although there probably isn't too much leeway with regards to his mark, if placed correctly, connections could possibly squeeze another win out of the four-year-old.
He would be of each-way interest in 6/7f Fibresand handicaps between now and year-end.

Then this utter bs happened...
Two months of complete brutality.
So harsh.

Were it not for luck, I would win everything.
Thankfully, I just called and left myself with a slim chance of a seat.
Soon after I get it in with a pair vs overcards. An opening show of Evs (for the high cards) was backed into 2/13 before the flop was dealt.
Punters went home happy.
Lucky, lucky, lucky me,
I'm a lucky son of a gun,
I work 8 hours, I sleep 8 hours, that leaves 8 hours for fun...
You done me.
Sadly, my stack can no longer be described as Mega, as I spew 30% of my starting chip in one hand.
I raise it up with QT, see a flop of QQ9 and somehow manage to lose 3,000+ chips in the coup.
Cunning.

Anyone else miss pot-limit?

Losing with AA and KK in my first 20 minutes at the table has shaved 2,000 off my starting stack.
Harrumph!
I've been told it every night for over two months.
Thankfully, I am currently in a position where I can now laugh at this farcical nonsense.

This was the only hand of note...
The more bad calls, the more opportunities to suffer misfortune.
I will do well to remember this.
I need to accept that I am not in The Vic and it's not 2003.
High: Backing Wigan at 8/1.
Low: Having 7.5x the Wigan stake on Brentford (to beat Blackburn).
I've always known that I am a better judge at 10/1 than I am at 10/11.
Funny old game.
When down to the important stage - 20 left and with 18 big-blinds, I lose two 60/40's and crash out.
Thought I would ease into tonight with a £11 DYM.
I am 1/4, then this happened....
It wouldn't surprise me if I started being dealt just one card.
