We do want to play tighter when UTG, but KK just about makes it into our raising range pre here Mushroom. It is scary raising into Maxallys small blind, but we should be raising here regardless as Max will have AA less than 100% of the time
Dunno if this is an ‘in’ joke , but I read it as as bad timing on loo break. 😊
I'm different league...

looks like you should of asked for a bucket for xmas not the flat horse's to follow guide
We are not talking big numbers but, since returning post-Christmas, steady profits have been achieved.
After six winning months from seven (with the losing month basically level; -1%), my horrendous runs meant I ended 2020 with three consecutive losing months, however, I've clawed back around 25% of those Oct-Christmas losses in the past week or so.
In all forms of gambling, long-term profits are always a result of peaks and troughs. The key is lose as less as possible when descending. November and December were, by far, my quietest months with regards to total stakes. Had I played more, it is likely I would've put a huge dent in my 2020 profits and undone my hard work over the summer.
Although consistent form has returned, I still suffer with hunger/motivational issues. Even when happy with my game I have nights when I simply cannot be bothered. I take my hat off to all those who put the hours in, no matter what.
Just enjoyed a deep run in the Sunday Major Freeroll. However, I suffered from carddeadedness when we reached the shoving stage and, as a result, could only finish in 9th place.
This has been a common theme, for me, in MTTs of late. Decent runs without landing a big prizes. Though, unlike November and Decemeber an accumulation of small cashes, bounties and successful spin-ups have kept me in the black lately.
Should Ian "Bouncebackability" Dowie commentate on poker, he would undoubtedly use "carddeadedness".
Was going well into the Mini until this happened...

I'm fine with the over-bet on the flop, as I am never passing - if I bet small and get called, then I am check-raising all-in on the turn, or something along those lines.

That's an oxymoron, surely? Or is it a paradox?
I should know, but I don't.

Hook, line, sinker, saved.
I held the chip lead for 90% of the battle but could not get over the line.
I somehow managed to lose from this sport (5 x chip lead, opponent holding just 4 bb's)...
Still, I feel back.
Well done Mushy.
Was going well into the Mini until this happened...
Bounties bring £10 profit, though.
Little bit of NLHE spin-up - run poorly.
Tiny bit of PLO cash - run poorly.
Played the 6k £33 - running poorly (in for £63).
Played the Mini....
I am then dealt Aces...
Once I am called on the flop, I know he has an Ace, obviously - so I am done, unless I ping the turn.
It doesn't matter if I bet the turn or river, no one is folding.
Spiteful stuff.
