    Don don't quit m8
    it's a blip
you'll get them at nl4 because they will hit their 1,2,3 outers
as long as the trend for your bankroll is upwards, as yours is, then you've got no problems.
i had a nice run of about 11 buyins up not so long ago then had a bad week when nothing went right. I lost 8BIs.
But I knew I was playing as I had been before, took a day or 2 off and i've made all bar 1BI back now (well 2 if you include last nights fun river cards!lol!)
When I was on the downslope that week i was reminded that even then my bankroll was higher than it had been a month ago so what was i worried about. it'll change around and until last night I'd won a BI a day for the past week, by still playing the same way.

you can't let a bit of bad luck/play effect you so much. If you're at nl4 these things happen.

Don seriously if you can’t take the swings then maybe cash is not for you.

You have doubled your BR, Don what more do you want than an ROI of 100%. £30 into £60 is the same as £3000 into £6000 at higher levels.

Play you big percentage spots hard and fast and get paid.

You know the strategy because you doubled you BR just carry on the same.

Give it 6 weeks you will be playing 10NL.

If you play for an average of +1 bi per session, 35 sessions and your up £140.

Don’t look at one session, look for the average across your sessions.

It’s a long grind, no quick pay days in cash

    POST LESS AND PLAY MORE

Don you have the game to do this. You have got some good momentum up it seems so taking a break is only going stop this and have a negative effect. You can be the most talented player on the planet but if your not psychologically strong then your not going to get anywhere in this game, especially on cash. Just acept the fact that your going to have losing days, losing weeks or even as lol raise says losing months. If you keep playing at the top of your game then you will win overall. Patience and the ability to not tilt and become crestfallen when you have a session of bad beats are key. Keep a clear head, bring your A game, and youl do fine :)

Incy Wincy spider wasn't a quitter. He didn't take days off when the going got tough !

Lance Armstrong was diagnosed with serious cancer that had spread throughout his entire body. He had cancer cells the size of golf balls in his lungs. Despite all odds he overcame the cancer and set out to win the Tour de France 6 Consecutive years in a row.

Though he be ever so tired by repeated failure, let him begin his operations again and again; for fortune greatly favors the man who perseveres in his undertakings. ( Hinduism.Laws of Manu 9.300 )
For Heavens sake Don90 don't throw it all away.

The only valid excuse you have to give up is if you are dead.
As long as you are alive ( and healthy and free ) you have
a duty to your fans and readers to keep going till you finally succeed !

Remember it's not called grinding for nothing. Or else people would call it
    cruising.

    my 2p worth

you have had a good start over the 1st week of your latest attempt, just stick at it, ur just about comfortable br wise to take a couple of hits and not worry.

u do get some days where u log on and lose a couple of buyins in a cruel way in a quick time, sometimes easier just to shut it down have a break. remember theres always tomorrow.

to who was wondering how many C4P is possible playing NL4, in may i gained 4000 over 23 days so 5000 is acheivable if u have the time. i played over 60 hours a week over 5 tables during that month and it was very hard going.

I think my brain would have melted a long time before than lol.

For the record I made 3268 bb's (including bonus's) over about 20k hands in two months 4 tabling MAX averaging like 340 hands a day so this '60 hours a week, 4k points' is not needed. However this requires playing the way I play if you play looser/badder it might it might take longer but that shouldn't matter either as long as your winning.

wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii - 2003 pts after a final 2 hour session and  cpl of quid profit

    BR - £150   1450 pts
    BR   £213.52   2003 pts
      - Would have been £215 if I hadn,t played the TOT, but its been a good week

Regarding the above posts I,m not sure I could manage 4k in one month purely on NL4. I might try it another month but I,ll be back to the DYM,s and some satelites in September as well as some more NL4 as I,ve picked up a few notes on which players to target and who to avoid

Its just working out which games are more profitable, with the least risk. I,ll also probably play a bit of NL10 as its a totally different game and not so robotic

Might have 1 more session tonight but had to make sure I got the points before midnight

    Was just wondering

i,ve got a decent size monitor but can only fit 4 tables on my screen at any one time.

Is there anything like screen resoltion or something I can change to get  more tables on the screen at once?

I ask as there seem to be  lot of ppl playing more than 4 tables and they can,t all have 2 monitors

Even in mini view I can only fit 6 with minimal overlap. Only the kind of overlap that doesn't cover any cards/bet sizes etc. so its alright.

It's never about the screen size but the screen resolution that really matters.  I might start a thread in Technical Queries showing how many different tables can be run at different resolutions as it seems to be a recurring question on the forums.
